Its pretty strange that china has no restrictions on cars being licenced. You dont have to apply rocket science to know, that when every chinese drives a car, oil will be finished in 3 to 5 years. And also the air of course. There is more potential car owners in china than there are cars worldwide today. Big business against a small planet.

@8133169 NOT if you consider it on a per capita basis. The majority of Chinese still do not own cars, and many still use bicycles and electric mopeds. They are stingy about heating their homes, and one half of the population still live in the rural areas, without cars and modern conveniences.
