People on page 22 of the 7th ed rulebook it states and i quote: "1. as soon as the chargers touch the target unit, the unit stops. 2 align the chargers against the target unit. THIS EXTRA ALIGNMENT MOVE IS FREE, AND MIGHT RESULT IN SOME MODELS MOVING FURTHER THEN THEIR CHARGE MOVE" pg 22 image 22.1. Thus the charge made by the elves is legal!

when you measure the distance for a charge it is taken from the furthest corner of the unit. I think you measured it from the closest corner. Therefore charge failed.

Which is why that charge never would have ocurred, It influences alot because if they fail charge next turn the elven spearmen get shot up with everything they got..possibly causing a L test. bottom line that was a failed charge.

Lui is right furthest model, NO model can move more than its distance even to "slide" in to maximize, measure from the furthest point thats moving

In the rules is says you just need to get 1 model in contact with the enemy, then the other models wheel to make full contact. Check the rulebook again.

The Warriors counter charging the spearmen was a bad move, owning 60points of spearmen and copping bolt throwers in the flank.

Tell you're dwarf player to take a cannon with Rune of Forging. :)

That was a close one on the charge, I think it may of been 10" from corner of that 1 base to corner of the other....but that doesn't mean that the entire unit would of been in. The guys on the far side of the 1st rank def moved more then 10"
