  • I did all what you said but still i can't get it back .. please help me

  • @Nanuf16 Note that you were directed to Tech Support if the suggestion didn't work. YouTube comments are not a good medium for technical support, go to our site or contact support from within the app's help. Thanks.

  • Hi

Could anybody tell me how to get back the guitar effects that i purchased in this App??

  • @Nanuf16 In-app purchases can be reclaimed - make sure you are using the same version of the app (Free, LE, and Full are all different apps) and iTunes Account. If you do that and click buy it will tell you that you already have purchased and ask if you'd like to re-download. If you are at all unclear about the above please contact Tech Support first.

  • Does the hand come with the App? - or is this aimed at the 3 handed guitarist market?

  • @clarence335 ? Obviously we're going to take advantage of the multitouch interface at the heart of iOS and devices. However, we have announced iRig Stomp which you should take a look at and will be offering MIDI control with iRig MIDI and AmpliTube in future updates. That way, both tap dancer guitarists and those with three hands (or other means of hitting the screen that we will not discuss here...) will be covered.

  • Could i ask, is this the same version as the one for PC and MAC or a cut down version specifically to run on the ipad. I'm more concerned with quality than interface etc.

I've got the PC version and wondering whether I will be able to obtain the same sonic quality on an ipad 2. Thanks.

  • Can you use that iRig for both guitar and a microphone? Or do you also Have to get the iRig Mic?

  • @limme13 You'd need a preamp for microphone. This converts guitar (Hi-Z) or line input to the best signal for the device. Microphones would require a preamp just like on a regular computer.

  • @RtheGandhi Use a male-to-male cable and a 1/8-to-1/4" adapter and plug it into a PA or amp.

  • I love this device. I got it for Christmas and its just so fun to play with!

  • i get a wierd humming sound. How can I fix it?

  • @airsoftandguitar101 Pleases contact support and they'll get you sorted out.

  • This is the paid version or free version?

  • @arieyhanz This is the full version (paid).

  • due to some thing i cant play the effects of the app ... it only plays the clean tune.. why???

  • @gurung8888 make sure the 1st track on the recorder is armed and you don't have the tuner engaged. If that doesn't work, contact support and they will help

  • Could I plug Guitar > iPad > Amp (return)?

  • @RafaNobilis Yes, iRig includes a diagram and explanation of the cables required (basically 1/8" stereo to DUAL 1/4" mono with one side into the amp.

  • i can't seem to get that clean sound?its aslways distorted no matter how i tweak my guitar? im playing both an acoustic and electric???

  • @nesiansoulallstars Make sure the input is set to a reasonable level. If you need more help, technical support can be contacted through our site or the app

  • can I use the Woodees Miso instrument adapter with this app ?

  • can i connect my own effect pedal first than to this ipad???

    such as guitar->distortion-> pitch shift->flanger->chrous->ipad...???

  • @Zuzweit You could but results would definitely vary depending on pedal and other factors.

  • Could I plug a mic into the Irig?

  • @nesiansoulallstars You'd probably also need to add a preamp for most mics. Or just use iRig Mic, which was made to plug into your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch

  • Works with Apogee JAM?

  • @Piraja Right now, it does not work with the JAM but there have been requests to support it. We will let you all know if there is a change to make it compatible. THank you

  • @ikmultimedia so how about today?)

  • i just purchased the irig for my iphone, and every time i plug it in (im doing everything correctly) no sound comes from the headphones. i can hear all the demo's and stuff, but i cannot hear my own guitar.

can someone please help me with this, i was all excited on this thing and now im kinda bummed, spent like an hr and a half unpluging it and replugging it.

  • @ThePinkCamal As stated in the other comment you posted, make sure track 1 is armed in the recorder. If that isn't it, support is available for this type of issue you are having and they are reachable from within the app or on our web site.

  • I've just bought the rig and all the software and pretty much all of the add on pedals that are available and I must admit it is good and sounds better than my old pedals. However.....I can't get a sounds like ZZ Top which I need to get for a gig I am doing soon. Can you suggest the pedals/effects and settings I need to achieve this sound? Thanks very much.

  • Omg , I cant believe the sound is good like that bypassing an Ipad!!!!

  • @matthieu71 The sound is processed by the iPad, the iRig is an interface to get the proper guitar signal into the iPad. The AmpliTube app on iPad is what is processing the sound.

  • is it possible to use the irig guitar thing to put my own mic in because mine is much better than the irig mic

  • Can you paste into GarageBand with this?

  • Can you connect the iRig to your computer(PC or Mac) and make it work?

  • @LuiselPat only some modern Macs support it. Check our site for more information

  • Is there a way I can control it with a MIDI foot controller? This is would be awesome for live! :D

  • @mumazza Not directly right now but keep your eyes peeled...

  • Can you label each track and does each track save the exact amp/pedals that can be adjusted later or do you have to 'Apply' the settings when done with that track and go onto the next track?

  • Can I record AmpliTube tracks and use them in GarageBand songs?

  • @tucabond You can export tracks from AmpliTube and import them into GarageBand on desktop but if you are talking about GarageBand iPad you'd have to be able to import audio files and I'm not so sure that's an easy or possible task in that app.

  • Can someone help me get an input none message when everythings plugged in and tunred up, there is no sound and i dont want to use the mic option as it sounds really bad..

  • @favsncrap When iRig is plugged in, also make sure the first track in the recorder is armed. If this isn't the problem, contact support and they will get you working

  • @ikmultimedia I had same problem i went into setings and turned off feed back if feedback is on i get no sound for some reason can someone help me on how to make it not screach and how to get it through an amp

  • @Legend1885 You should contact technical support and they will sort you out

  • can the sound go through amp or no

  • @Legend1885 Yes you can send the output to an amp with the recommended cabling that is on the sheet included with iRig

  • What song starts at 1:00? please tell me:)

  • Comment removed

  • Make Bluetooth footswitch, and be ready for gigs haha

  • Whats the latency like - be honest- Im no newb to A/D devices

  • @spongebobdealerpants Next to no latency. Try it out. Similar to the Mac/PC version of AmpliTube in that respect.

  • @ikmultimedia

That is not an answer. What is the actual figure 10ms? 4ms? 2ms?

    Thanks.

  • @thebytegrill Try the free version, it is next to nothing, there isn't an exact figure due to variances but we're sure you'll be satisfied. Also, similar to the Mac/PC version is a viable answer for those that have or have tried those too.

  • @thebytegrill

He is correct. The more Apps you have running will cause some latencey but in a normal situation its very hard to tell any.Look at some other videos here on youtube or go to best buy and buy it and try it.It comes with a free LE version for download. If you dont like it take it back to best buy and get your money back. Its well worth the $39.95.You can run your ipod at the same time and play along with it as well.

  • Mine doesnt worknwhat don

  • Is that app free or not?

  • @pezozy123 There's a free version to try, and a full version for purchase.

  • Can the irig be used with an imac?

  • @thinlinechris on certain models that have the same i/o jack as the iOS devices do

  • what are the different amp sounds it recreates? Marshall? Orange? Fender?

  • @lethrneck4 The amps range from being modeled after Fender, Mesa, Marshall, and more. You can get official Fender models via in-app purchase soon and also as its own app

  • ok i have irig i have the ipad full paid app i plugged everything in fine (im using headphones and a lead for guitar) but no sound comes out...also none of the demos play...could some1 help me ive used 60 bucks on all this...

  • @gjunki You can contact support and they'll help you out. Make sure you have the first track armed in the recorder section too. You can even get to support directly from within the app's help section. Thanks!

  • is there a pitch shifting effect? if not pleaseeeeeeeee put one on there. this could be a great alternative to a koass pad

  • i need the cable now~~~ where should i get.... hmm...

  • Any brutal heavy Death metal settings? Can I run my Wah through the iRig with out fukin up my iPad?

  • whats the name of the song that starts at 1:00?

  • any chance you guys could send me one to do a review on??

  • Fuck! I need An Ipad :)

  • How much in Aussie dollars??

  • can i turn on a song on my iPod to go along with while being on irig at the same time?

  • @OfficiaIpodUser You can import directly from your iTunes library on your iPod into AmpliTube

  • @ikmultimedia thanks

  • @ikmultimedia Yes but the annoying thing is that when you do that and you play along with an effect like distortion, the song automatic gets distorted too. Really a downer... I hope they fix that.

  • @CaliZup No, you can play along with unaffected songs, we do it all the time. Contact support, thanks.

  • how do i connect this to an amp?

  • @ThayerLazarou To connect to a guitar amp you need a cable (there's also a sheet included with description and diagrams) and best would typically be 1/8" stereo to 1/4" dual mono with one of those 1/4" leads plugged into the amp

  • Does it work for Bass guitars as well?

  • @njhopkins1992 Yes indeed it does!

  • What guitar was used in this video? I am going to buy an iPod next month and this is the first thing i´m gonna by as soon as i have gotten my iPod :) And i am dying to find out how to get a real, full on metal tone! So i was just wondering what guitar was used when you did this :) If it was a guitar with Single Coils, or Humbuckers

  • I've been trying to get the irig and amplitube to work on my iphone 3gs but nothing is coming out into my headphones when I play my bass. I can hear the guitar demo fine and change effects but when it comes to actually playing my instrument, I hear nothing. Thing is plugged in all the way and my cable works because i just tuned it on a real tuner...

  • @freakyjord2025 Make sure the first track in the included recorder is armed, and insert FX are on. Check our FAQ and if those suggestions don't work you can contact support (all available within the app too). Thanks!

  • If your playing this through your amp do you just set the amp to clean in order to get the sound that would normally be playing through the headphones to sound the same though the amp?

  • @AnyTechReviews Yes, you'd have to use some clean setting if you don't wan tot add any dirt to the sound.

  • I have no problems with the app. The only thing is i can't use the damn thing because i don't think you sell the iRig in the Philippines. I don't want to buy online because i don't trust people. Do you have a store in the Philippines?

  • @rapanalyst Go to our site and click "Dealers" and it will use your location to find the closest retailer. Once you find it, ring them and see if they have it in stock or can get it for you.

  • does it work on iPod/iPhone???

  • @Fil407 There is a separate version for iPhone/iPod Touch

  • can you use this app without iRig? because i have an adapter that allows me to plug my guitar into my ipad but no sound comes out. Is there a certain setting it needs to be at to be able to hear it? or do i have to get an iRig? I really don't want to spend $30-$40 on an iRig. Is there a cheaper / alternative way to do it or make it work?

  • @HIMLSPRANGS iRig is recommended because it has circuitry to get a proper guitar sound into the device. Impedance matching is a must. A simple cable/splitter will not work correctly. Getting iRig and the full version of the app is less than a single hardware pedal.

  • this was cool until i realized he doesn't even play anything. now i love the DEVIL

  • is this a tube amp or solid state?? haha

  • @golluba my iPad isn't getting very warm so the tubes are simulated :)

  • Does delay pedal have tap tempo, and changeable note lenghts? Likr quarter and a dot. This is crucial information for me :)

  • @Michel731 Delay does not have tap tempo but does have BPM sync and it does have note lengths.

  • can you listen through the speaker instead of headphones?

  • @treehugher2332323 not with iRig, the output is routed through the headphone out

  • now thats fuckin badass

  • like on the other video demo.....if i was playing and i wanted to use the wah would i put the pad on the table and rub it with my wang?

  • @jmannunez hardy har har... there's auto-wah and we're looking into control methods.

  • @ikmultimedia simple idea, if you make a live stand of sorts for it, make it moveable with a pedal at the bottom, and use the accelerometer!

  • I purchased the iRig in line adaptor, and then loaded the free amplitude for iPhone on my iPhone and iPad. I played with the four track recording and bouncing features, thought it was great so spent the $23 dollars and bought the supposedly superior iPad version with the works... Opened the ipad version, registered it, and now my question is --- "Where the #% is my recording feature. Did I just get suckered ?

  • @Rickimerlin Not at all... Note the iPad is version 1.x and the update should be approved soon so you'll get the better DSP, recording, etc soon!

  • at first i thought he was actually playing xD

  • this would be great for practicing at home and stuff, but i doubt you'll see many people use it live. unless they dont mind stepping on their iPads.

  • @filthieft They will likely mount it with iKlip (shipping soon) and we are aware that there's a market for control...

  • how would I use this in a live scenario? could I go through my amp?

  • That is too cool. I know what ill by getting myself this christmas

  • Wow! This is seriously impressive... I have a Mesa Boogie setup which is just too loud, looking to downsize -- very authentic tube reproduction indeed! Looks like I need to buy a new iPad...

  • @sephiap Thanks! You may also want to demo AmpliTube 3 on your computer - it has some really good Mesa models (and many others).

  • does the sound come out of your amp, and what stores can u get it at?

  • @azzuri229 - please see my reply to your same question in another video comments area.

  • Isn't it possible to record on iPad? i downloaded the software on both my iPad and iPhone, unfortunately i can't connect the iRig to my phone cause the jackplug doesn't fit [porbably because it's a first generation iPhone?] but i saw the recording possibility in the iPhone software. Which i cannot find in the iPad version...

  • @KongFromAmsterdam V2 for iPad is coming, that will be like V2 on iPhone which can record.

  • @ikmultimedia Cool, thanks!

  • cool, thanks for your reply!

  • does the iRig only work with ipad/iphone or can it be used on a pc also???

  • @DarkMetaRidley It is an adapter for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad - some MacBooks (and MacBook Pro) have the combination input/output jack that can support this but no PCs that we know of. Our StompIO, StealthPedal, and StealthPlug are made for PC/Mac

  • where can i get irig in india???

  • @mikhailmadnani We have a dealers list on our site. Check to see if some of those carry iRig. Thanks!

  • How good are the speakers on the iPad I wished for a line6 spider4 amp for Christmas but I'm gettin the iPad how loud and clear are the speakers?

  • @TheMacNazi When using iRig to plug into your iPad, the output is routed through the headphone out on the iRig, not the iPad speakers.

  • this is so sick, i wish i had it. xD

  • So this is the app on the new iPad commercial, correct? That crunchy snarl tone coming from that Fender was great.

  • @kyledawg92 Yes indeed it is the guitar gear simulation software you see in that iPad app. Thank you very much for the kind words!

  • do you need this special conector? i tried a normal one and it didnt work

  • @icdp iRig has circuitry made to get the best guitar signal into the device for use with the AmpliTube app (and others). Any connector without circuitry for impedance matching, etc, will not give the appropriate signal from your guitar into the device.

  • can you connect a wah?

  • @guitarlegend0709

I think it uses the ipad's inertial sensor and you tilt the ipad to affect the wah flex/deflex.

  • but how do you change it while your playing guitar?

    lol......step on your ipad lol

  • "Compre pedaleiras caras!"

"Pra quê, se eu posso usar meu iPad?"

  • i have a usb interface NI for guitarrig...is this interface works???

  • @petruyursulaxx This is on iPad. iRig is the interface for AmpliTube on iPad.

  • Okay I assume you cant record onto the Ipad, So can you record via PC? I admit if I had this though it would be more for novelty, example playing in car , or a field, beach.. up a tree in a swimming pool? and on the toilet

  • @artwel123 You will be able to record, we are working on the 2.0 update for iPad as we just released the iPhone 2.0 version that does record. Thanks!

  • Fuck this, this was my idea.

  • @HeartagramBAMF We may have used the 10+ years of gear modeling experience to our advantage ;)

  • Is there some kind of delay during the sound preprocess?

  • @lonelyfiddler No, there is nearly zero latency. Plug a guitar, bass, synth, etc into iRig and iRig into the iPad and play. You'll hear it like you are playing through an amp or similar gear. The really low latency is similar to our Mac/PC version.

  • I would love to have some Midi Control / Foot Control for it ... this would be awesome!

  • How about integration with MIDI gear? Need to be able to turn pedals/effects on/off and change sounds on the fly via MIDI CC and program changes.

  • @lisahayes3 We don't have anything yet but are aware that there are requests for some control methods. Thanks!

  • God, that makes me want to go out and get an Ipad just so I can use that xD

  • Are we able to play through the iPad speakers without using headphones?

  • me and my friend play in our band playing this with our iPads into a direct box at our church and it sounds better than our Vox ac30s. Its cooler too.

  • @bondman00794 Wow, thanks! While we bow the the AC30 (and emulate it multiple times in our products), we appreciate that comment!

  • Mate I'm usin my Peavey no matter what and with proper decent pedals lol its still gd software dont get me wrong XD

  • hey mate can i use the irig for android? i know there isnt the software yet but the plug ins are the same?

    thx

  • @OrcMageRocker The Android doesn't have the same combined input/output jack as the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch/some MacBooks sorry!

  • :P is there a integrated overload protection so you can't blow up your ipad speakers ? :P

  • @Gijsknol you dont use your ipads speakers you use head phones or anything else you plug into the jack of the irig...

  • @SpineSauce Yess but i know very certain you can use the ipad's speakers as monitoring. I've seen it. But in that case it's dangerous for amateur users to blow up their ipad speakers if there isnt a overload protection or clipper or something

  • @Gijsknol only if you are not using iRig, which only routes audio out its headphone output jack. The demos and such can play through the iPad speakers but once you hook up iRig, you need to use its output to speakers, headphones, mixer, PA, etc

  • My last comment was an iPad fail, sorry for that. Anyway: Will we need a 1/4" to 1/8" cable to play over the amp instead of playing over the headphones?

  • @JimTheMusician no problem. The iRig comes with a slip of paper with instructions and pictures of appropriate cables. To go out to an mixter, amp, etc you'll need an 1/8" stereo to 1/4" DUAL MONO. Thanks!

  • Comment removed

  • can we play it without earplug?

  • @zxcdfguio absolutely, send the output to a mixer, amp, or powered speakers, etc.

  • amplitube 3 is hands down the best commercial guitar program. And I've tried them all. There is a huuuuuge difference between amplitube 2, which I didn't like, and 3 which blew me away. Anyone who doesn't believe me should get the free demo and just compare it themselves.

  • @stchristoph2000 Thank you so much! We appreciate the kind words and glad you liked it.

  • i actually dont think one is better than the other they both have the same problems with high gain and fizz, BUT they both sound great in their own areas - i prefer Amplitube although I havent used Ampltibe 3, but I have used my friends Guitar Rig 3 and 4 but I bought ampltibe they arwe both great, this little device looks awesome!

  • guitar rig 4 is better!

  • @jesusvalles54 Check AmpliTube 3, AmpliTube Fender or Ampeg SVX if you are into Mac/PC before saying that...

  • @jesusvalles54 I wasn't aware it ran on iPad ;-)

  • @ikmultimedia nah, just kidding, actually i have no software to run my guitar through my computer but my friend does have amplitube 3 and im loving the effects on the clean channel not so much of a fan of the distortions but i love the cleans, i might buy it and i wish i had an ipad... lol

  • i have to say, it's pretty slick. but i know for a fact the dials on the pedals and amps are a pain to use without the slider that the iphone version has..

  • @spamlin They work as if your finger was like the mouse if you were using the desktop version of AmpliTube.

  • NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
