I'm sorry, but sprites are pixel art. What's used in Super Smash Bros. Brawl is more polygons, textures, and models. In order for the styles to match with what's currently used for the Brawl sprites, it would have to be something similar to what's being shown in this movie.

Even then, that's still a model of a character. Look at the older games, Super Nintendo and NES to be exact. THOSE are sprites. Pixel art. They can't be turned or anything. Models have a full 360 degree turn. Besides, the bittage clash with other sprites would be horrendous!

Snapshots are still cutouts of the character. While you might be able to pixelate that, it still has a huge color count. Sprites from the older days had color counts from four to over thirty two, but have limits.

Really? Sprites have color limits? Interesting...cause I was also going to do the same thing with Olimar.

I guess sprites now a days don't have limits, or they're set really high. But back then, you had to use a maximum amount. That's why in some games, Mega Man most obviously, enemies tend to use the same colors. Power ups would also be the same color as the player, to also save memory. This is one reason why 1-Ups and Weapon Energy (Or so I belive) became the same color as Mega Man in the NES days. Though, with 1-Up faces now for that series, they become that color out of tradition.
