  • Hello MikeyIsmail,

Thank you for uploading these tutorials , they are really helpful. I want to learn a new a new stitch to make a triangular shawl. Its called Jasmine stitch.

  • a great stitch! I love it, and a great tutorial. Thanks! Makes a lovely scarf. ^_^

  • In the video the stitch looks very stiff. I was wondering; is it stiff or is it relixable enough to make into a afgan or shawl?

    thanks

  • @shummabuns

i know EXACTLY what you mean. When i first started, no matter how many times i started over and projects i did. They kept getting closer and narrow. I was so frustrated. I used to be a knitter, then my aunt got me "I cant believe Im crocheting"

I realized that what i was doing was missing stitches, or not starting in the right chain on the first row. You really have to make sure your starting at the right place, and ending at the right place. Also chain 1 after every row.

  • Love your tutorials!

  • cool i love to crochet i wish i had u as my brother

  • Thank you very much! Keep up the good work.. You are very talented at what you do. I love to watch your videos, they help me a lot. Thanks again.... -shummabuns

  • whenever i crochet something… my project always gets narrow, i don't know what i am doing wrong can you help me?

  • @shummabuns pay close attention that you are going to the very end of your rows... if your not you will end up with a v shaped project......and make sure you are putting a stitch in every stitch in the row below the row you are doing too.......hope this helps....cathy @mikeys helpdesk

  • Mikey this looks like the cluster stitch.....tjw1963 has a great video on how and what a puff stitch is done and looks like. In my Crochet World mag this month has a afghan made with this stitch. Great instructions.

  • love it Mikey, thanks starting mines

  • hey mikey, great tutorial (like always, man), thanks a lot.

but it´s a little hard to watch, because the camera is focussing on the background, not on your hands.

maybe you could use the next time the background from your double lattice pattern vid? greetings, dingo

  • Thanks for the pattern.
