Sure, games released on both the PS3 and the 360 look TOTALLY different. Not! Multi-platform games are developed for a 360, then ported to the PS3, making the graphics look the almost the same. If it was done the other way, how could it run on a 360?

Yes, by almost I mean they look 1% different from each other. You can see a little detail somehwere, but it doesnt even affect gameplay at all, even more when you arent even paying attention to the environment while being busy shooting at enemies.

Show some facts for your statement. Sony's PS2 did the win the record on '08 for most PLAYED system of the year. Playing the system vs playing online are two separate things. As well PS2 doesn't hold a candle to the number of Xbox games that were online so unless FFXI was bigger than I realized or SOCOM was just that great I highly doubt it won that award.

The Playstation 3 is ten-times the quality of the 360. I own both but I have to say i can do alot more with my ps3 and the games are better. mgs4, K2, R2, socom, uncharted. halo got boring and i never liked gears.

Downloaded the game today! I only played through the tutorial. For a $15 game, I am very impressed!!!!
The gun controls felt fine. The jeeps are cool, tanks are cool. It took me over an hour to learn how to fly the plane properly. It's a little tricky, but once you get a feel for it, it's great. You can drop bombs with the plane, and it has a machine gun.
I think we're going to have a lot of fun with this one!
Oh hell I did download it. I got "Failed to connect to EA online" error, then "We couldn't find any games, please try again" and when I finally find a match I lag like hell.

Yeah, I could really care less who wins, PS3 or XBOX. I own both systems. I bought the PS3 because I needed a Blu-Ray player, and at the time, it was the cheapest Blu-Ray player out there.
However, I mainly play all my multiplayer on-line games, like Call of Duty multiplayer, over XBOX Live. To me, the $50 they charge a year for a subscription makes it a much more stable, enjoyable on-line experience.
I believe the Battlefield 1943 game is also coming out on PC, and if I'm not mistaken, the Coral Sea challenge includes XBOX 360, PS3, and PC.
There are 2 main reasons why I like playing video games on the XBOX 360 rather than a PC. First, I love sitting in a comfy living room chair when I play. Second, the thought of controlling a character using a mouse just doesn't seem natural to me. I'm so comfortable using the XBOX controller.
But some people love gaming on the PC, more power to them!
Funny you mention the Sims. I just ordered the Sims3 a few days ago. It will be arriving very soon. I'm going to be creating some YouTube videos with it. Should prove very valuable in helping me achieve my 1,000,000 video views goal. Maybe you can help me do some character voice overs?

I have both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. I like using the Xbox 360 controller because it just feels right to me.
The left control stick is offset about 3/4 inch higher than the right control stick, and I feel this gives you much better control.
But, of course, to each his own.

First sentence, capitalize the first word of each sentence. "ment" should be "meant". Also "your on the band wagon" should be "you're on the band wagon". Sigh, "grammer" should be "grammar" I mean really do I need to go on? and what's with the caps lock? From reading the comment you just left, I could safely assume a few things. The Playstation 3 is ten-times the quality of the 360. I own both but I have to say i can do alot more with my ps3 and the games are better. mgs4, K2, R2, socom, uncharted. halo got boring and i never liked gears.

Downloaded the game today! I only played through the tutorial. For a $15 game, I am very impressed!!!!
The gun controls felt fine. The jeeps are cool, tanks are cool. It took me over an hour to learn how to fly the plane properly. It's a little tricky, but once you get a feel for it, it's great. You can drop bombs with the plane, and it has a machine gun.
I think we're going to have a lot of fun with this one!

Oh hell I did download it. I got "Failed to connect to EA online" error, then "We couldn't find any games, please try again" and when I finally find a match I lag like hell.

Yeah, I couldn't even get into 1 game yet, that's why I just went through the tutorial. I've been reading through the forums on the XBOX Live site, and everyone seems to be having the same problem today. EA says they are setting up more servers, so hopefully I'll be able to play a real game after work tonight.

I was resetting my router and I didn't get the Failed to connect to EA error anymore, then after they added new servers I was able to join :D
Great game. I'm wondering if the servers will crash today, now that PS3 also have BF1943 :/

i've heard alot of speculation on which system is better and nearly everyone has their own opinion. but i don't know (or rather im too lazy to look up the stats) which one was purchased more. that would be a decent factor in determining the winner of this contest granted the percent of players who actually try this game are equal if not very close.
but all facts and statistics aside, i'm rooting for 360 players to win. lol.

Yeah, I could really care less who wins, PS3 or XBOX. I own both systems. I bought the PS3 because I needed a Blu-Ray player, and at the time, it was the cheapest Blu-Ray player out there.
However, I mainly play all my multiplayer on-line games, like Call of Duty multiplayer, over XBOX Live. To me, the $50 they charge a year for a subscription makes it a much more stable, enjoyable on-line experience.

I believe the Battlefield 1943 game is also coming out on PC, and if I'm not mistaken, the Coral Sea challenge includes XBOX 360, PS3, and PC.
There are 2 main reasons why I like playing video games on the XBOX 360 rather than a PC. First, I love sitting in a comfy living room chair when I play. Second, the thought of controlling a character using a mouse just doesn't seem natural to me. I'm so comfortable using the XBOX controller.
But some people love gaming on the PC, more power to them!
