Good for you! You will not regret it--It is such a listening experience and especially when you understand the words. The French take dramatic license and romanitize with music--magical birds, magicians return because of their love, flying & loving on the back of a crazy cloud, but it's ok---C'es le francais!!! I've translated 70 songs of Celine's & I know a Quebecoise lady who lives close to Celine in Provost--we communicate daily and became friends because of Celine.

No, I would love to be able to see her live. Strangely enough, before I became so much of a fan, I passed Caesars Palace in Las Vegas with her name in the Marquis and never gave it a thought. It's kind of like I did when I passed up an opportunity to hear Pavarotti live in Chicago many years ago. I didn't know him then. Now I've heard Celine and Pavarotti do a duet, I find them to be the 2 greatest singers in the world. We change, the chance slips away, but some day maybe I will.

Sounded great, but it looked very painful. It was probably towards the end of the evening and her voice was really tired, you can even see her put her hand to her throat in pain as her voice slightly cracks after the high note towards the end. Singing 5 nights a week was really overkill anyway, I'm glad for her that it's over!
