@emazinglyemi Not true. I've listened to the original version several times, and I'm not enamored with it. Through MY preferences in music, the male voices sound too overpowering and the female voice strays so far from the beat that it's distracting. So, I like the Vocaloid (in particular, Teto's) versions the best. I advise you that everyone's taste in voices is different, and many people DO like these Vocaloid versions better and actually feel deeper emotion by listening to them. =/

I don't know why that kind of music is so popular either, but Vocaloid is a completely different thing. It spans all genres and styles. There's even a Vocaloid that does operatic style singing. I'm just saying that you can lay off on the judgmental attitude about people who like this technology.
@emazinglyemi Although perhaps one of the reasons you especially hate this version is because it has no music attached to it. Most Vocaloid covers do, and sound much, much better for it. Another major factor in the production of the Vocaloid voice is the skill and experience of the user. I don't particularly like this Luka version b/c of the way they handled the voice; I've heard songs where she sounds much better.
Miku's ver: Cuteness/sorrow.
Teto's ver: Passionate.
Luka's ver: Hauntingly beautiful.
I want to see a male vocaloid pull the saints version of Lilium off.

I think she pulls this off MUCH better than Miku. Miku can't sing as smoothly as Luka, so I think it's perfect that Luka sings this.
