this is the Canadian equivalent of Suffocation. You could tell they took a lot of inspiration from Breeding the Spawn on this album. Great shit, loved then and love it now!
Judging by the cover-art (computer screens?) and lyrics this song is a hauntingly accurate death metal profecy of kids living in their chairs watching the computer screen as if they can't stop doing it. :P
Of course, I have no clue what it's actually about. About some bad disease I guess. :D
@MK2WiseGuy Ugh I was only 5 when this album dropped; I constantly dream of going back in time and finding mint copies of original pressings of this album...

yea Seance is a Swedish death metal band who formed in 1990. Their debut, Fornever Laid to Rest was released in 1992 and is their most well known album. Saltrubbed Eyes is their 2nd album, which was released in 1993. Personally, I prefer it over their debut. Them Swedes really know how to do DM right!!
@pastuiedada !aH "You said, that you like van halen? Gamma ray? And even some jazz and blues? !hA. There is no other music,''Besides, Pure tech death, and dark dub step techno id..This is just kinda like a thrash to me..It needs to go to and fro through middle earth to metamorphosis .And learn to adapt to this new underground interworld..It is a highly mechanized race of Digital electronic, psychedelic, and cybernetic black tech metal..Its numbers are small, yet it rivals all of humanity
@123rebel456 We all knew when we put our filthy hand on the Retribution CD made by Malevolent Creation that the old world is dead. No more thrash metal, no metallica and slayer at all. It was a new beginning of a beautiful genre, called post 2000 brutal metal.
@Bogie00075 Thanks, I am well aware of these bands. Lest we forget BOLT THROWER - ...FOR VICTORY SAMAEL - CEREMONY OF OPPOSITES INCANTATION - THE FORSAKEN MOURNING OF ANGELIC ANGUISH MALEVOLENT CREATION - RETRIBUTION BRUJERIA - MATANDO GUEROS SEPULTURA - ARISE CRYPTOPSY - NONE SO VILE all 10/10 grade a death metal that is legit!!!
@FirePower3006 That's actually a common misunderstanding. Cryptopsy doesn't exist anymore. Every since Lord Worm left the group with the adoption of the Screamo/Deathcore vocalist, they've officially been branded as Job for a Cryptopsy. I don't know what's going through Flo's head or why he let that happen to them, but I believe there's a reason for everything. Maybe something will happen in the near future.
@CerebrumTranceStep id say gorguts and cryptopsy are about equal (in terms of back in the day sound thank god gorguts never too the job for a gorguts route)
@ChainsawJigsaw666 Well, I wouldn't say "equal" in all honesty. This is from 1993. If you listen to Cryptopsy's Blasphemy Made Flesh from 1994, it's just on an entire new level of Death Metal compared to this. The brutality and intensity on that record STILL exceeds anything I've ever head up to this day. Gorguts recorded their work in C sharp and nothing but guttural vocals. Cryptopsy's earliest work is in B standard with inhuman screams/gutturals. That shit is EPIC Death Metal.
@CerebrumTranceStep There were a ton of great releases in 94'. Mortal Throne Of Nazarene, The Ending Quest, To The Depths... In Degradation, Blasphemy Made Flesh (as you said), Solstice Of Oppression. 94' was a sick fuckin year.
there is another thing this world should be attuned to, and that is supreme metal like this
