  • Did everyone go home at shift change? If so, then this fire is a winner. That's all that really matters on a vacant structure (or any fire, for that matter).

  • whats the name of the song in the beginning??

  • if you would of had a secondary attack line on the outside going into that window you would easily had most of that knocked down.....

  • @tommysupa1 Yeah and they would of cooked the guys inside! You win some you lose some and judging from the other videos these guys win more than they lose.

  • this was a vacant house that was on fire

  • LOS BOMBEROS QUEMARON LA ESTRUCTURA

  • Good footage...but if i see one more fire video with AC/DC music in it im going to slit my wrists

  • You weren't there, this...We're gonna defend ourselves, that. This is what the video showed- A FF/EMT with no bunker gear or gloves, forcing a door. Do you really want to get hurt that badly saving boarded up structure? Anyway, what's the big 'aggresive hurry' that I'm sure you'll defend yourself with..those guys playing fireman ain't stretchin' that line worth sh!t. I've seen other Houston FD video's and yea, they're bad ass. But this is just pathetic. Get a new job ladies..

  • @MrYouknowBetta Alrighty mryouknowbetta.....before anything I don't only post the fire videos that went smooth...I post the good ones and the bad ones (which many don't do). FF/EMT forcing the door?...yes he did and I know the safe way to do it is bunkered out....but normally we don't stand there with our hands in our pockets just because we are on the amb that day. Capt. doing his 360 so FF decided to force door.......

  • @hfd34hazard .....and about boarded up structure........are you serious? I'm not sure if you are a FF or not but what does a boarded up structure tell you? I know for sure it does not tell you the structure is clear from occupants until you at least do a primary search (which most likely you know). Go back to the vid of buffalo you posted on "you guys are the best"....and listen to the begining of it....they are asking if anyone is inside....and of course no one knows....

  • @hfd34hazard .....until they do a search no matter how the structure looks. All they did in that fire was cook the people inside by spraying from the ext. when they had the entire b, c, and d of structure clear of fire. They should have made entry from the rear and push fire out........ how can you put that they are the best? lol. I think its just something personal with HFD you got buddy......

  • @hfd34hazard .....all I can say about this fire is that unfortunatly the fire was extended to attic and access to attic was delayed do to shiplap......no sheetrock around this territory. Fire extended and didn't go in our favor. You can see most of the other district 19 fires I've posted (which 27's is in 19's district) and I think our ladies are doing just fine. Stay safe out there buddy......and post some good vids....Enjoy your bashing comments....;)

  • @MrYouknowBetta you dont know shit about HFD and dont know shit about fires so shut the fuck up

  • @Mr416lg I put out the fire in your momma's pants every night..

  • @MrYouknowBetta yeah i knew you were a fuckin dumbass little kid grow up fag

  • wow ive been a vol ff for 10 years and we have some nice shit but you guys have it all and how long did it take for u guys to eveb get water to the crew that was making the interior attack. man oh man you guys need somr more training

  • this is pathetic, why would you post this? To make Houston Firefighters look bad?

  • Nice way to let a house fire get away from you! Why would you post such a bad incident?

  • thats horrible, way to let a house fire get away from you!

  • @TexNorseman Make HFD look bad? No, I post the vids no matter how they go. Just how I posted before....some people just post the vids that go their way....when most of the time you get to learn from mistakes when you post the ones that didn't go our favor. Stay safe Mr. Tex.

  • It might have helped if the first in engine crew was a little more entused to pull a line. i dont know if it would have helped cause I wasnt there but it looked like they could have held the fire to the B,C corner of the structure.

  • Hay días buenos y malos. Este, claramente, fue uno malo.

  • Why do people insist on setting these fire videos to music? Usually very bad music that just gets yanked anyway.

  • To everyone hating on houston..you just need to chill out...give credit where credit is due...these guys put good knocks on fires day in and day out. If your not there you just dont know. So if you would rather sit here and arm chair quarterback everything get a life. And the ppe issue..do you really expect medics to put on gear at a house fire? He simply opened the door for the engine crew and moved out of the way. Great Job Houston STAY AGGRESIVE!!!!!

  • I love how everybody is all of the sudden a veteran firefighter when they decide to post on SOMEONE elses video. I was not at that fire and that is not my station, but i will say it is hard for somebody to pass judgment on a fire when they were not even on scene of that fire and the worst part is that you get some volunteer on here that has been a fireifghter for maybe 2 years making comments like he is some veteran.

  • Plus if you stuck a hose in at the window you would be pushing the fire to the unburned side.

  • You all can call yourselves professionals but I seen some dumb volunteers do much better then these idiots!!! LMAO DICK BAGS!!

  • Is bunker gear optional in Houston? I've seen alot of videos where "firefighters" are wearing station uniforms on the FIREGROUND. Way to look after your men "SAFETY OFFICER"

  • STATION UNIFORMS AS IN OUR LIGHT BLUE SHIRTS? SOME DISTRICT CHIEFS REQUIRE ALL EMS PERSONNEL (WHICH ARE FF'S AS WELL BUT ON AN EMS UNIT THAT DAY) TO WEAR BLUES ON FIRE GROUND. IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH THE BLUES? EMS CREWS IN HOUSTON DON'T JUST SIT DOWN IN THEIR APPARATUS AND CATCH zzZZZzz'S WHILE THEIR BROTHERS ARE INSIDE A FIRE. OF COURSE...YOU DO HAVE TO BE CAUTIOUS IN WHAT YOU DO AND WATCH FOR HAZARDS JUST LIKE WHEN YOU ARE ON A FIRE APPARATUS.

  • Hey nice video, remember it'll be easier to watxch if you steady the camera on a fence, against a tree, or just buy a single 4 foot stickk to screw int the bottom. Also radio and fire ground communication is more interesting than music from a FFs perspective... and uh did you see the electrical drop? Be careful, you were standing right under and next to it minutes before it fell. thanks for the vid.

  • nfpa = no f#$%ing practical application

i have never seen the nfpa put out a fire

  • you must be a dumb volley, you never stick a hose in a window when you have a crew on the inside you idiot

  • they pretty much f+++++ that place. i agree with the pos. pressure comment

  • What's the name of the second song!

  • I think the cameraman should of stopped filming grabbed the redline and stuck it in the window of the one original room and then had them check for externsion later. At least it would of knocked it down! Whatever!

  • I think its pretty obvious what happened. Someone started a PPV fan and blew the fire through the house. There is a time and place for every tactic and even the guys who love PPV will tell you unless you have attack lines at the seat of the fire you will only make it bigger and blow it throughout the house and the attic space which is pretty obvious that it was probably already there due to the advanced fire upon arrival.

  • I looked, didn't see a fan at the door, probabaly just the wind goin' in the door.

  • Look at approx 6:05 into the clip. Look at the right bottom corner and you can plainly see a yellow temspest fan being used by the guy in the dark blue shirt. You can also hear it through all the background noise. Unless the wind was blowing at least 20mph it would be hard to get the fire behavior they had.

  • Yup there it is(guy carries it at 5:10/hear it at 5:45, somebody's holdin' it at the door at 6:10), first it kicks up when the front door is popped around 3:15, then the attic and the rest after the fan at 5:45.

  • i just think its great when i read peoples reaction to this video...."do they always let the roof burn"..."we'd have a quicker knock down for sure"....WELL....UNLESS YOU WERE THERE....DONT 'KNOCK' WHAT YOU DONT KNOW.....if your on a F.D. u know that every fire is different. SO...it took these guys a while to get in and attack....its alot better than being mr.heroic and getting guys killed or hurt.

  • fire won that battle. Cant win em all. I know that I've had good fires and bad ones . Next time I'm sure your crew does a much better job.

  • I have to agree, 4 plus to get a line in is a long time. But, no point in going in if the line in your hands isn't charged. Doesn't leave any options. Pump problem maybe, who knows. If they go by the two in/two out rule it could be the next in was a long ways out. Haven't seen an explanation other than the fire didn't go the way they wanted it too.

  • Wow...I thought this video was running at half speed. I truly have never seen a slower interior attack. God bless those guys, I hope everyone got out okay.

  • I'm guessing this was a training video, surely not a real attack?????? Great video though...

  • What happened there? I'm not sure but in my dept. we would of had a line off the crosslay and through the front door in a matter of 30 sec, quick search and knock the fire down, I'm at a loss. anyone knows what happened?

  • al parecer se les escapo de control o me equivoco ??

  • learn english

  • What took so long? It went from a room in contents to a total loss? Initial Fire attack team had water so i am interested to hear what exactly happened.

  • Ouch.....

  • itz all bout dh

  • very nice video!! Do they always let the roof burn without shooting water on it?

  • Well this fire did not go the way we wanted it to go. Normally if you go offensive and make an interior attack you don't put water on the outside until everyone is out or if you go defensive.

  • What happened to the initial attack line? What kept them from getting the fire?
