@poutybloom drinking lots of water acouple of glasses a day I used to have dry skin acouple of weeks ago so I tried using my mums moisturiser and it worked and I also got a moisturiser from ASDA and it completely cleared the dry skin but you have to remember that everyones skin is different and what might not work for you might for someone else

I really need your help! Im having trouble trying to hind my spots plus my nose and around the corners of my nose have become really dry and flaky skin im trying everything to make it moisturised and smooth but the skin looks horrible when i apply foundation. ive used everything to make it not dry now i hate applying makeup because i look terrible and the dry skin looks very noticeable i use make nc 15 pro long wear do you reckon its the matte finish that makes me look dry?help x sez x

@poutybloom30 EXFOLIATING!! no matter how much you moisturise, nothing is going to work if youre not exfoliating! you should be exfoliating 2-3 times a week after cleansing (: dont scrub hard.

@immandrew I do exfoliate and i thought that was why i was having dry skin from exfoliating 2 to 3 times a week, because i wasn't letting the new skin heal, so i stopped for 2 weeks and the dry skin is still there. any one recommend a good moisturiser ive tried lush 'skin drink'' plus ''simple'' 12 hours moisturise ahh its endless tried everything need to change my foundation 2? not so matte one? or maybe i need more oil around my nose. i use to hav beautiful skin its gone dul for the past year.

@Petrova1864 did you try green make up base, or protective creams eliminating redness? I use clinique redness solutions base and it works for me. (Now there is over -10 C where I live and my cheeks with all acne scarring on them gets red as hell,but green base solves that problem)

To say her face is TANNED would imply that she has had more sun on her face than every other part of her body. It is more of a TAN color, not more TANNED than anything else. Stop being such a stick in the mud.

@ElizzleShizzle you're pretty defensive lol. Especially for still being wrong. Being 'tanned' has nothing to do with the sun, you can wear fake tan and you'd be 'tanned'. Also wearing darker makeup can make you look tanned. You apply fake TAN or go to the beach to TAN and you get TANNED. Tanned is an adjective, which is used to 'describe something' ie describing skin tone. However you can say 'I have a tan' and then 'tan' is a noun. You also have no comprehension of what a stick in the mud is.

I'm not defensive, I just think it's stupid to go around correcting people. Does going online and anonymously correcting strangers validate you? Either you have lovely nails to begin with, just add some clear polish or try false nails. They don't have to be long, there are so many brands who have short nails for everyday use.
