  • No,, the more you get it, often, the less of an effect it will have on you

  • HI, I'M THE MAKER OF THIS VIDEO - I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU GUYS THAT I THINK I HAVE BECOME SOMEONE IMMUNE TO POISON OAK. I HAVE GOT IT TWICE THIS SUMMER AND THE RASH HARDLY GREW AT ALL, WHEN I WAS YOUNG IT WOULD GO OVER MY ENTIRE BODY ALMOST. MAYBE THIS CURE DID SOMETHING TO MAKE ME IMMUNE......?

  • i hate poison ivy

  • So wash with laundry detergent, then rinse, then apply vineger, lemon juice, and poroxide, rinse and apply lavender oil? and do this every hour?

Is there a length of time i should keep each product on my skin for? or just 30 seconds and rub then apply the next one?

  • I wish i saw this before i cut my rashs and just let the urishol puss drip out.

  • @comedymy1name dishes

  • Why the hell did I trhew the vinegar to the trash???

I can not sleep!! and I am far to town!!

  • Um does it matter which kind of Vinegar u put on it?

  • I touched a plant in Minnestota that had prickly leaves. I've had a large, nasty rash and infection on my ring finger now for six weeks. Anyone know what the plant might be? I've tried home remedies, but it's still festering. It's driving me nuts!

  • use bleach!it takes it away in like a day but the bleach burns alot.

  • do u wash each step off afer applying it?

  • @Pur3Sc00t3r1ng : That's my question too: do you wait for each round to dry, rinse it off, or dry it off in between, or just apply each ingredient in order,,,

  • chewing tabbaco helped my nephew

  • Hey, I get poison Ivy a few times a year and Im extremely allergic to it =(

I rarely get the rash on my hands or arms I always seem to get it on my face I guess because I rub my face. I really wana try this method but it seems difficult to apply to such a sensitive area

Any suggestions let me know =)

  • burn in hell poison oak bitch!

  • that vinegar and lemon fucking stings!!! but it works (=

  • can you use anything in place of the lavendar oil? and also what kind of detergent?

  • umm this is kinda embaressing but i have it on my penis so wont it burn if i put that stuff on it he he =/

  • I used the first three ingredients(bleach, vinegar, then hydrogen peroxide) , and my arms had no initial adverse affect upon them due to treatment...however, my forehead had a white spot, which turned black overnight. Hmmm......dunno if this is normal, however, there is no itching ^_^

  • i got it around my eyes... and and my balls lol!!!! im serious though. so. if the comments re true i hope this works.

  • will this still work if you dont have lavender oil? im almost to full puffy flakey sweater status and its on my lips and face too, its annoying since my pain tollerance is high, even when its bleeding, but what will work in place of lavender oil?

the first time this happened, i mistakenly used some anti-itch cream with menthol on my goins special region, i wanted to rip my little friend off or shoot myself with a doublebarrel shotgun there cuz i was crying so bad in pain.

  • What the eff kind of detergent???? Laundry? Dish? wtf!!

  • calamine lotion has always seemed to work for me. i've used it since i was a kid.

  • @Riffmasta calamine is good for small areas of infections.

  • I was really hopeful when I saw this as I was suffering SO BADLY and nothing seemed to help!

I ran right out and got all the necessities and dutifully performed this painful (the vinegar stings so badly!) task about five times over the course of the afternoon/evening.

To my great disappointment, there was no improvement the next day. :(

  • that's because the oil is not out yet, you have to repeat the procudure until the rash goes away. you probably had the urisoil oil very deep in your skin

  • miracle!!! Cant thank you enough Just cried when i saw the healing power of common household products.

God Bless you for sharing this with us.

  • im in a bad spot i wiped my ass with it the other day and now im fucked lol so i need to do this!

  • your so fuckin screwed.

  • What kind of detergent should I use? Laundry, dish, etc...?

  • For me it DEFINITELY WORKED. We have a lot of poison oak and somehow I got it on my lower back; itching for several days now. At first I thought it was just a mosquito bite but then it spread. I'd been using hydrocortizone and then Goldbond. Found this video & tried it; it worked beautifully. The lavender oil can be bought at any healthfood store. Don't skip any steps; just do it. It worked for me.

  • I thought mine was a mosquito bite too.

  • Im about 5 days into a nasty case of posion oak and then i find this. I have started my first treatment and have to run to the store to get more product as i have ran out. Will keep posted on results but good lord does this make me tingle and hard to not itch it after drying up.

  • i steped in it 2days ago and i onyl have liek tiny lil bumps on my feet does it mean its going away?

  • thanks man I did it right away after the first sintoms show, and 5 min later the bumps vanish in front of my eyes. thaks again

  • I do a lot of brush clearing and catch poison oak often....I wash with warm water and dawn dish washing liquid.....Then I pop 3 Benadryl Diphenhydramine HCL's every 4 hours....Easy and effective...No need to spend hours rubbing all that stuff in...It takes too long to apply and you always miss spots...I'm on day 2...No itch and almost 100% gone....All other methods I've tried have taken at least a week....(Oh yeah..DO NOT pop the blisters!)

  • Heeeyy ! I was just wondering is this does work for poison ivy as well because you only said poion oak at the beginning of the vid. Ive been searching everywhere for treatments so please message me back ! :)

  • It works. Using this method for over two years with best result.

Only i do different, I'm buying EUROPEAN vinegar from any European grocery sore. EU vinegar is 9% concentrate and US just about 3%.

Also, i do 5 sessions a day and problem is gone in 10 days max :)

PS: I'm not using Lavender oil or Vaseline.

  • does this same thing help with poison ivy to because i have poison ivy and ive had for almost week/5 days, and ive tried everything nothing worked so can u awnser and tell me if this helps poison ivy to------Thanks

  • i guess that would work at certain points of the rash, but for people who are sensitive too Urishoil, it acts very different...

  • Can i use this on my face and around my eyes

  • yes, just close your eyes when you apply

  • i had poison oak tried this along with many other stuff it went away but not as fast as they say it does not sure if really works i also used what is called all stop healing gel look it up

  • the key to success with this method is doing it on the hour continually until ALL the oil has been removed. the urisoil oil comes out in layers. so some might come out, but then more of it comes to the surface, causing more rash. thats why this method is about consistency

  • Wow holy S this stuff is AWESOME. I had it on my arm and i try everything even the $50 Zenfal which did nothing. I did only 3 steps skipping the Lavendar Oil and it still work like GOD.

    1. Use detergent and wash the detergent off before the Vinegar.

    2. Prepare to get burn like a Mother Mo. Vinegar time, it burn bad but not as painful as heartbreak.

    3. Peroxide good on top of the Vinegar.

    4. Go play game for 1 hour and do it again.

    5. I did this 3 time a day for 1 week completely gone.

  • this seems pretty precise...

  • do you just apply one after the other

i need the exact steps on what to do

i have it bad on my arms

  • im about to try this out on my girlfriend's poison ivy. wish me luck and ill let u guys know wat the results are

  • Did it work?

  • no, our only results were a clean poison ivy wounds.

  • you can't just do it once. it may take several days to get all the urisiol oil out, doing it on the hour. but it's better than waiting 2-3 weeks

  • hey deos this work fofr poison ivy too because i have it on the side of my face and i really want to get rid of it.please coment me skaterboy 3776

  • I remember using this a few months back, it works but it turned my arms a bit colorish, dont worry about it. IT WORKS. Im back because I have minor poison oak

  • Hey i have poison oak on my face and my balls, including the shaft.. is it safe to apply detergent, 3% H P, vinegar to those areas .. i have this 1% hydrocortizone cream that i just bought and i was just thinking of using it on my privates and face.. and use Cmey2k's treatment for body surfaces such as legs arms.. what do you think?

  • Another home remedy is to peel the red skin/bark off of Manzanita Trees (Common in California where I live) and boil it in hot water...

then apply the reddish, kind of tea solution to your skin

helps to dry out the oil... I use this and vinegar together

though probably not the best remedy it does help

  • I am on the first day the rash is really noticable i plan on using this method. How long will the poison oak stay after i use this method.

  • listen do no take hot showers pools and hot tubs with lots of clorine works a liitle dont scratch and no it is not just hives it is a chemicall reaction under your skin im an expert trust me i work in a hospital.

  • what kind of detergent

  • YES! i was trying to remember what the ingredients were. i have had poison oak MANY a time and always just suffered it out. one day my friend told me to do what this video said and it fixed it right away! thank you thank you thank you!

  • this is just my figure of thinking when you take a hot shower it just makes it worse i didnt take a hot shower or bath, NEVER TAKE A BATH THAT IS HOW IT SREADS TO YOUR EYES LIKE IT DID TO MINE! taking a hot shower makes the oils thinner and easier to spread and it baisically feeds to the oils. that is just what everyone told me, even profesionals like nureses and doctors have told me that. but if that is what helped you, that is what helped me.

  • it can only spread like that in the initial hour or two of infection. once poison oak bonds to the skin it does not spread through the oils unless you re-infect yourself. people think they spread it through itching, but it's actually the delayed allergic reaction in certain parts of the body.the best thing to do for relief is a blow drier or really hot water on the infected areas.

  • heres my cure- i had poison oak in the summer(sweating causes it to spread horribly fast, so lucky me i had poison oak in 103 degree weather):

    1) only take showers 1-2 times a week, when you take the shower use luke warm water.

    2) apply tecnu, caladryl, or even soy milk 3-4 times a day . apply it in the morning, mid afternoon, and before you go to bed.

    3) remeber the the lotions are caladryl and tecnu the home remedy is soy milk.

    4) let the lotions dry out the oils of the poison oak.

  • poison oak is simply hives (plain old regular hives) that are a result of an allergic reaction caused by the oil. scratching, and moisture do NOT affect the spread of the hives contrary to popular belief. the only thing these do is inflame the area and make you more uncomfortable the only thing not showering will do is make you stinky AND miserable. a hot shower or a blow dryer will relieve itching for several hours simply because it overloads the nerves in the area causing numbness.

  • Do you rince off after each step or not?

  • rinsing is not neccesary

  • I was miserable for the past 3 days and nothing seemed to work. This is the way to get rid of your pain, but make sure you have all of the items. thank you sooooooo much. Screw over the counter items and do this instead!

  • Let me just say to everyone here, that you should NOT be skeptical. This has worked great! During the process it will sting and burn when you put on this stuff and it will hurt like a mother, but after 20 minutes you wont itch. I did this for my second time in the past 2 hours and I haven't the slightest urge to itch. I used benedryll, steroids, 100% aloe, and other things and nothing compares to this. I had it on my testicals REALLY bad and after this treatment there is no itchiness.

  • Thank You! Finally someone comes back with a report to show everyone, this is for REAL!

  • Abosolutely

  • Do you have to use lavender oil?

  • well, that's he recipe that the chemist wrote so i'm not sure, but it definately would be worth going and getting some

  • My Gramps taught me to just pour bleach on Poison Ivy or Oak.

  • I'm a little bit hesitant to poor detergent, vinegar, and lemon juice onto the open blisters on my rash...

  • don't worry, it should be fine. in fact the only reason youshouldn't stratch poison oak is not because it spreads it, but because it causes blisters. the best thing to do when you have itching is put hot water or the blow dryer on it for a minute or so and the itching will go away for a couple of hours. but i think putting the cure on your rash will be fine. i healed a friend of poison oak last week and it was gone in less than half a day.

  • im trying this right now, i hope it works.

  • The way I cured mine was to use Sandalwood soap and Tea Tree Extract. I'm going to try this method next time. Thanks!

  • or u can go to the doctor and get meds like i did i got pi on me FACE

  • the problem with getting meds, which is usually steroids is that it can take a very long time until it works. They gave me steroids and it didn't go anything, if you just get the oil off the skin the rash almost instantly goes away. plus, it's much cheaper

  • What kind of detergent? What is detergent?

  • you know like, laundry degergent

  • I havent tryed this method but this plant called Jewel weed grows in wet places like lakes and swamps. All you do is take the stem and rub it on the infected area it works pretty good healed mine in about 3 days.

  • Oh Goodness does this ITCH! I'm on round number 3 and im DYING!!! i hope so much this works. I just am not sure if i should wash off the lemon & vinegar before putting on the hydrogen peroxide and if i should wash that off before the lavendar oil...

  • Michell, how did it go? did it work?

  • does this work for sumac im 13 and i got it all over real bad

  • Yes, poison sumac, oak & ivy are all basically the same thing, they are all caused by urishoil oil. just follow the steps in the video and it will go away.

  • do u mix these compounds together??

  • no, just one at a time.

  • does this work for sumac cuz i got it bad and i need help gettting it gone . comment back. plz anyone..

  • yes, urishoil oil is the same oil that makes sumac cause allergic reactions in people.

  • thats being smart but unless it goes away in a day it dont beat my cure lol

i scrap it off and put alcohol on it..it burns like hell but it scabs over in a day and goes away i used vinegar last i had it...it hurt was more but dried it faster

  • Vinegar mixed with salt and let ur infected area soak in it or rub on it for about 5 minutes,,,ill have to give that one a try

  • the oil coming out of the body is not the urishoil oil, that is oil produces by the body and it cannot spread the rash. and you can't spread poison oak by scratching once the initial urishoil oil has bonded to your skin. if you want a quick way to relieve itching until you use this method, simply put really hot water on the rash for a couple minutes, you won't itch for hours

  • why would you put oil on it when it ozzes oils from the rash?

  • the lavendar oil is more like an nuetralizer has an acidic effect like the vinegar, but the oil from the skin does not spread the rash
