Very sweet...heady times, amazing sounds that came from them...I feel very lucky the universe plucked me down into this awareness and beauty this lifetime.
Duane played with such 'feel' ; literally- he played his emotions and how he wanted the crowd to interpret the sadness of the song. He was the MASTER! It's not about licks, and pull offs, scales and speed with Duane but transcribing the feel / the vibe of the song to the audience. Personally, he was the greatest guitarist who ever lived!
as trucksStop has lead me on the way I looked it up and you are indeed right it isn't the 02.28.71 show it is 09.19.71 at stoneybrook..The very beginning 4 to 8 bars of solo are very close though so thats why I thought thta..either way Wail on!!

amazing, Duanne just letting it all flow this version. Pure soothing sound, is the best way to put it.

This is one of my favorite versions, and the 11 min. long Blue Sky from this concert ( Stoneybrook) is out of this world.
Great Video !
