  • for all of us who bitch and moan about how hard life is today, imagine doing this for 10 - 12 hours a day and just barely make enough to support a family. wish kids today understood that!

  • a small easy work

  • holy crap.

  • this is a small anchor ?

  • That is a mighty impressive example of forge welding.

  • Those short pieces you was welding in. Is that what some call a Dutchmans weld?-Great video Bruce

  • the anchor was forged from pure iron given to us by Pure Iron .com one was forged previously for Pure Iron .com and a film was made of that anchor olso

  • nice job!

Is that anchor wrought iron or steel?

  • Outstanding love to be there for the next one

  • a anchor was forged each year this one was a copy of one i have in the yard, and was made the same way , forging the parts is the hardest work ,by the time we are ready to weld we are tired and could have used some fresh hands , we had intended forging another the last one was forged in 2005

  • Wonderful! I have been trying to find out how anchors are made and if there is any book similar to "Anvils in America" for their production. This is a helpful insight! Thanks

  • wow man in my books this is nowhere near small, but a nice video,no doubts about it
