Your right, I tuned the guitar down to "D", so as you say, it was not played in the key of "C". Thanks for the comment.

ya but you wernt playing a drop D song so it was out of tune. the rest of your strings were in C and you were playing chords as if they were not drop D so you were but you wernt playing in C aka out of tune
