You've never seen Azubuike play healthy, thank you for proving it. He was plenty explosive and could finish fine at the rim when healthy, his knee injuries hampered his ability to do so and he became more reliant on his jump shot because of that. However he's ALWAYS been a great defender on the perimeter, just like Imam. They're the same height, weight, build and have similar skillsets. He's much closer to Buike's than Wade, Tmac, Rondo, Ariza or any of these other ridiculous comparisons.

Jerome jordan at center is a project but the knicks can survive with him. He is a legit 7 footer. Truth is, no one the knicks picked in this draft which was by far the worst draft talent wise would have been a good pick or fit to make fans happy. They got what they needed a solid versatile P/SG who plays D? All of you genuises who think this is a bad pick needs to understand, these are not the knicks of the past decade. Picking another forward is not the answer when you have 2 stars who are going to get all of those minutes. There is no more dominate bigs left so J. Jordan at center

Jerome jordan at center is a project but the knicks can survive with him. He is a legit 7 footer. Plus, Chauncey is old and wont play a full season and if you plug Toney Douglas in at point who the hell will come off the bench at the 2 or point? Thats why the had to pick the best available player that fits the team needs, which was Iman. Now the knicks just need to fill gaps with the draft becuase they will not find anyone who is going to get minutes or take the ball out of melo or stat hands.

He kind of reminds me of a mixture of George Hill and Russ West. Very athletic skilled big guard. I like the pic because he can guard guys like Ray Allen, Dwade, etc...People wanna complain about his offense but bottom line is we have 3 guys who demand the ball, so he doesn't really have to worry about his offensive game. He can improve his shot down the road. Anybody remember David Lee when he first came into the league. Had no shot at all, but developed it. Faried and Singleton are too small.

With Chauncey, fields, douglas and shumpert thats really good gaurds and also with stat and melo is dangerous for other teams. watch out . also with turiaf playing center hes a good defender and can score but no jumper but with the knicks geting josh harrelson a 6'10 275 center thats a contending team. but i still think the knick are one person away from a championship team.

@2crimetime not even close turiaf is not a true center he was pushed around all next year josh harrelson isnt nba ready yet, shumpert is a good player but hes not whats the knicks needed they have to many guards and not enough man power down low amare plays no defense and turiaf is terrible they passed up chris singleton which is the worst decision since passing up brooke lopez and jennings, i hope it doesnt come back to haunt them, if they dont get aa center they are going no where

We didn't need Singleton since we bought the rights to Josh Harrelson and we plan on trying to get Samuel Dalembert in free agency. Iman brings defensive toughness at the 2 spot. We needed this cause Stat and Melo don't play D for shit. If he works on his shot and does the dirty work like Landry Fields, I can see him doing well on our team.

I think he's a ridiculous athlete that will get in Wade and Rondo's grill defensively from day 1. If he improves his shot selection he's a great pick. If billups teaches him how to run the point he's a future all star. Either way he contributes day 1. He's a defensive nightmare for opposing guards. Look how long his arms are, how tall but quick he is.
