I don't think Bella was out of character because she's very dedicated. When she wants something, she goes out and gets it (example: finding out what Edward is, becoming a vampire, getting to see Jacob in Eclipse, etc.) She desperately wanted her baby, so she worked for it and didn't give up.
ok the thing is, throughout all the books, bella and edwards relationship was strong, and innocent and sweet. then it all just like crashed and it became PG-13 if ya no what i mean. (hey that rhymed) also i totally lost the relationship and connection with bella. and then renesmee was born, it wasnt just bella and edward which idk... it was sweet that they had a family, but i liked the innocent relationship better. i liked the book but i didnt love it.
I don't agree about the feminist thing..I don't think SM had some moral agenda I think she was writing what worked for her and who she is as a person, I don't think she was trying to say that the only way a women can be happy is if she had a man and kids.I think you are being very mean-sprited and disrespectful to SM, I don't care if you don't like the book eveyone is allowed that; what makes me mad is that bashing SM for wrting the book her way and NOT yours
I agree with you-- the feminist in me screams bloody murder at times during the Twilight books. As much as I love them, there are some issues I just can't make peace with. There's no doubting that SMeyer has a moral agenda. Before it was a little more subversive, but it really hit us all over the head in BD.
And the crack... it was insane. There was a part of me that was seriously hoping that this was all an elaborate hoax because it could not be for real.
That sounds like a 'who the eff is Hank?' question. Which member of Team Twilighter wants to come up with an original answer to the question 'what's a Sanne?'
I did like the book and i have friends who didn't like it so much. I do respect that people have different views on what they like and didn't like. However, one thing you said didn't set with me and its what you said about the lexicon. the second manifesto did cross the line, but they wouldn't have had to cross that line if the angry fan didn't cross it first. actions have equal and oppsite reactions. so if people are going to act like that, then the website needs to take measures.
hell,i so agree with you!not to be mean and all but i felt the twilight series got murdured in breaking dawn...And when stephenie meyer brang up the excuse of the "rob effect"that just blew me off.I won't be able to accept BD unless meyer was gonna rewrite and do some "serious" revising.
she-who-shall-not-be-named-demon-spawn-devil-baby RUINED THE BOOK!!!
i totally agree with you. I've read many negative reviews and there's nothing more that i can add to this. Other than this book totally sucked. I didn't enjoy reading it. My expectations were really high which makes my disappointment even worse. Stephanie is living in a fantasy world calling the negative reviews the "rob-effect". I'm not going to let this book ruin the series for me. I'll just pretend BD never happened.
It's so sad how everyone doesn't like the book. I totally agree with everything you said. When I read it all I could think was "This is what she planned from the beginning?!?"
I hope you regain your love for twilight Sarah remember we always have twilight New Moon and Eclipse. *push breaking dawn under the napkin of life never to be eaten again!*
Also I have to say one thing... GAH!!!
I hate Harry Potter being push back to JULY 09 GAH!!!

I completely agree with you. The Lex is taking things way to far. With all those strict rules, what kind of twilight dicussion are you going to have?!
twilighter: I thought the whole book was great.
twilighter 2: yeah me too.
twilighter 3: agreed.
twilighter 4: yup.
......BORING! I love dicussing on the lex, and now they just ruined it. :[
& yeah I completely understand what you mean about the characters in Breaking Dawn.

You might have heard this from some people, but now the Twilight movie is actually coming out October 12th. Which is sad.

I miss sanne too
and I can't believe the lexicon would do that.
It defines the meaning of freedom of speech.
