If the Wheels are getting set in the right position the ride will be 10.000 times smoother, but it is and stays the Vekoma Prototype in Walibi Holland of it's Suspended Looping Coaster model. This was the first of it's kind and Vekoma stil use this one as Testmodel to provide tests on the inverted looping coasters.
Again, you guys are just following the boring stereotype. Hat is such a strong word. If you HATE Vekoma rides so much, don't bother riding them. Free up the queue lines fore people who appreciate them. I guess that if you truly HATE them, you'd rather rip off your own leg and beat yourself to death with it, than ride a rollercoaster that might be a little bit rough, or maybe a clone, (OH NO!) Seriously, just shut up.
k maybe i said it wrong, but I think, for my oppinion, there are other factories building better coasters then vekoma.. I'd rather ride a vekoma coaster then none, but I think, for my opinion, they are too rough and they have often copies.. so, I don't hate them, I just like other coasters more ^^
Look, you're just following the boring stereotype. Some old Intamins are rougher than Vekoma, and nobody complains about them. New Vekoma rides are very smooth with new train types and track types. Cloned rides allow smaller theme parks to have exciting rides, at a smaller price, attracting more guests, making more money, which they can put towards bigger, custom rides. Do you understand?
You haven't said anything about comfort. little bumpiness is tolerable as long as the seat & restraint are comfortable. All of my Vekoma credits are ANYTHING but comfy.
Roughness and Comfort go hand in hand. Granted, the old SLC seats and restraints are like they're trying to transport Hannibal Lecter around. I'm guessing you haven't seen ANY of the new train designs, in pictures or videos. They are, VERY comfortable, and have sorted out most of the roughness caused by the wheel assembly's on old trains.
Why? What have they done wrong? Sure, they aren't as smooth as B&M, or more recent Intamin coasters, but so what? If roughness is such a problem, don't bother riding any coasters ever, in fear of some slight head banging. Or is it the cloned rides? Well, cloned rides allow smaller theme parks to have exciting rides, at a smaller price, attracting more guests, making more money, which they can put towards bigger, custom rides. Without these clones, most theme parks would have nothing at all.

That was quite fascinating watching the understop wheels. They didn't spend a lot of time touching the track!

That still leaves dozens of older Vekomas that are rough & painful.

Very true, but at least new and re-vamped Vekoma rides will be comfortable. The future looks good for them.

True, but they're getting a lot smoother recently, especially with their new train designs.
