Cancer can sure decimate a person. I had a close co-worker who complained during the holiday season a few years ago of a sore throat. We both were in retail management so it's our busy time. He was a big husky man. After the New year he went to the doctor.He had throat cancer.By April he had passed away. He came into work a few weeks before he dies to say goodbye. He had lost 100lbs and his hair was white.I did not recognize him at first. I would end my life. I would not want to live like that

Patrick Swayze was a great actor who played some real power roles in his life. As an African-American man, I will always regard him as one of my favorites. Thank you bringing joy to my life in GHOST. That film really changed me for the better. Makes me appreciate what you have in family and friends because they will not always be around for you.

In advanced stages of pancreatic cancer there is nothing that can be done except wait to die. It killed Michael Landon as well...who also smoked.

I met him in London, my friend was crazy about him we went to see a musical he was starring in. I was so shock to see him jumping in the air so high and coming down to the ground doing the splits as he was in his 50s then. Later me and my friend had a drink after the show then we left the pub as we walked up the street there he was coming out the side door. She told him how she felt about him he held her hand and stared so caring. My friend died not long after Patrick but she got her one wish.

Poor guy .. the photo at 00:30 gave me chills. I never knew he looked so terrible as his disease progressed. Considering what he died from, I guess I assumed he did but, that is the 1st photo I saw so close to his death. It made me sad. Dirty Dancing has been my favorite movie since I was a little girl. I remember having to sneak when I watched it because, my parents thought it was too "racy" & wouldn't let me. :) He was a great actor & a wonderful man & husband. He's definitely missed. RIP
