Honestly one of the better parodies I've seen. Most people think if they have the yellow background and throw in a fake ass accent then everyone will think it's funny.

But.. yeah I must agree... it'd be the icing on the cake if your character was a little different.

The review wasn't THAT bad. I'm pretty sure his focus was on the actual review, more than making a parody of ZP. Sure, he could have made the main character look like himself. But who cares? He reviewed the movie, gave his opinions, it works. Ease up on him.

Don't be an ass. It is a method of expression. One which the creator deserves as much credit as the creator receives for creating it. We are forever indebted to him for creating a style. But to say that one may not express ones thought in such a manner is a concept that dooms a style to stagnation within it's own self. Perhaps romantic composition should have ended with the first romantic composer, because it was HIS way, and no one else's.

@dfgggg There's an explicit difference between being stylistic and outright replicating someone else's format. This video is not parody; it's simply a knock-off of someone else's work, very tastelessly done. ZP did not create a style. The tools that he uses, satire, dry wit and out right in-your-face rudeness were all born many years before ZP.

Furthermore to create something original, the creation must have something about it that is original. This video doesn't contain a pixel of originality.

I think we are getting halted by a difference in operable definitions of a few words. In this case, they are the words Style, and original. And while there could be something to gain from having a discussion about which is proper, it would be one arbitrary assignation versus another. So might we be able to accept a dictionary definition of these words? 1. The way in which something is said, done, expressed, or performed: a style of speech and writing.
