@IxVolumexI im not quite sure what the interview was called but he said that he learned on his own and the reason he has such a loud voice when sings is because when he was in a band in high school he couldnt sing ove the insrtuments with his crappy mic so he had to scream into it in order to be heard. It sounded like it be 979 hd 2 starting Monday. If this is true, then I will get myself an hd radio just 4 that. I am hoping 4 it bcause I love Q101. I fell like my childhood memories are being stolen from me.

@IxVolumexI no he did not..growing up in the punk/hardcore scene, Tim had a small radioshack type amp while the bigger ones were used for guitars.this caused him to be forced to scream at the top of his lungs in order to be heard.overtime, he got used to it and better at it
