I've been using spinning reels my entire life. Thinking about buy a Shimano Core now that I've been fishing more. I love Shimano products. Whats your take? i know it's quite expensive.
@TThhs2011 Gamma Polyflex Copolymer line is the best. 10-14 lb. if you want fluorocarbon, I'd use the Gamma Edge fluorocarbon. Very soft, strong line. Thx.
I would never buy cheap, When i bot my first 1 it was $500.. LOL Then i got the Quantum tour and it was all over from there i got like 20 Quantum baitcasters 3 shimano's and a few BPS Quantums deff the best
I agree. I started with a cheaper baitcaster and had nothing but problems. I got frustrated and stuck to spinning gear for a while. I plan on putting out the money this time and giving the baitcaster a second chance soon.
