@longboardMN apex will be better for stuff like shuvits and freestyleand stuff, but the dervish will be better for cruising and carving and dancing, but it also depends on how tall you are ish... oviously if your tall then the dervish would suit your size and have a nicer foot tance for you :)

@MrReptilesrock hey just saw your comment and we have the apex 37 and tan tien so i thought id help ya out, so can quabe. we prefer the tan tien over the apex because it is more stiff and make out of bamboo so its very good for tricks and the twin kick tails are like no other. its everybody in our entire groups favorite board and we have an apex 37, vanguard,ceviche,dervish, hellcat and many more. the tan tien is incredible but the apex 37 is a close second!

@Cowenleetin what are you talking about? lol. the apex is stiffer than the tan tien or about as stiff. your probably talking about the old one. and the apex is so much stronger due to the carbon fiber:) I would ride my apex over tan tien any day. More torque for slides, easier to slide, lighter and stronger for tricks. not to mention the tails are now bigger:) both sick boards. but I prefer my apexx!!!:DDDD. plus original is the most badass company ever!.... and loaded;)

@QUABEnCARL ya we do have the old one. but ya we all had original and it just wasnt for us, the trucks just werent natural. thats why we all like paris. i would like to get this board with paris trucks though. and ya i know what ya mean easier for slides on my old torpedo 40 all i had to do is turn and i could pull off a huge stand up slide.

I'm actually riding my paris's on my apex and did a comparison of sliding on my tan tien with my paris and then my apex with paris, and found my apex a lot better for sliding:)) I know what you mean about not being natural. they are a very different truck that you have get use to haha:p but I dont wanna lose my still on bushing trucks so im going to ride them more, and originals for learning new slides:P
