The three line is similar to what Julius Caesar used at Pharsalus to hold off superior cavalry numbers. Good stuff.

Thanks, yes the Julli should have been much more aggressive in that battle his army was a rush army anyway with no archer support.

Have you ever played campaign? If so, you surely know that the Julii just steamroller anything in their path. I find that scippii is too naval based, and as such doesn't play to the games strengths as much, and Brutii have to take on the phalanx armies, which can be a bitch.

Still, great match, my campaign ramblings are just coming from a guy who got a faulty cd key
