Quck cup and other similar devices do not boil water. Only a kettle will boil water.

i have this kettle and use it to make one cup and its quick. pretty quick boiling full kettle too and its easy to see how much you really want to boil thanks to clear plastic construction. saving energy

well it does 1 cup is same time but it takes longer for normal kettle to do 5 cups and quick kup has got filter so tea taster better and it also looks cool. Oh and you can use it to filter cold water as well.

why would u need a full ketle for 1 cup of tea?

this is good rivalry, tefal, takes about the same time to boil, and pour 1 cup of water, this does it in about same time, and it quiet.
