OK get this through: it is not loud because there is not sufficient power supply at the location. This thing works fine, but you need to have sufficient power to do so. Obviously she is not a Thunderbolt or Chrysler, but she is pretty loud under normal circumstances.

When I was 2 I thought power poles were siren and they scared me and then my mom turned on channel 5 and they showed a Thunderbolt so then I knew what sirens looked like and thought Thunderbolt 1000s were the only siren known to man.

Model 1s are an upright Model D in a cone shaped casing, like a 2.

Did you get the casing built? It does not look like a proper Model 2 casing (no vent for the sound to come out of).
