HP officejet 6500 is SHIT! After many MANY wasted sheets of paper I did the only thing that I could think of and I KICKED THE FUCKING SHIT OUT OT IT!! Beware though if you do this there will be lots of glass on the floor! My advice to all -ONLY BUY CANON PRINTERS! Canon printers have NEVER let me down and they are cheap on ink too.
I double checked the wires and the printer.The printer is on and it is plauged into the computer,but nothing prints out because a paper was jammed inside and I dragged it.Then put the clean paper stack inside hoping that the printer would start working,but it didn't work.I restarted the computer a few times,unplauged the printer and watched solutions videos on YouTube and found nothing.The printer makes clicks and cloaks sounds once in a while.
May this be a lesson to you all to never buy HP. I had a HP printer and I needed help with it, the live support was as stupid as a bag of bricks and the guy restarted his pc in the middle of our chat.
My 6180 is doing the same thing. They were made with fauly capacitors... which can luckily be replaced for less than $10 and about 30min of your time. Here is a link to an article about the issue. There are also vidoes on youtube about pulling the board and replacing the capcitors. The aritcle was on fixya dot com, but youtube won't allow me to link it.
None that I know of?? Tried "HP Support" which is an oxymoron. I cant even interface via IP address...
The next video posted will be the HP printer being ceremonially tossed out of a two storey window. Last time I buy HP... Anything HP.. You are suckered into thinking that you are buying quality.. Might as well buy cheap, expecting it to fail, and toss it when it does. I mean that's what I will end up doing with this HP POS anyway... But I paid for it..
