Had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Lauryn Hill, thanks to my daughter, this year in LA after her concert over the summer, a few months before she gave birth to a man child. She is a awesome, spiritual, powerful and very intelligent black woman.
I don't think she will make another album after all these years, but the Miseducation, was PERFECT! Words can't even express how amazing this CD was. All the awards and praises it recieved when she released it was well deserved.

@dramatish She already is a music legend!! She didn't throw away her career...she left for personal reasons. The industry was exposing her to ungodly things she didn't like. She mentions this in her 'Unplugged' album and even mentioned it in her Essence Award acceptance speech. The music industry is not what you think..but she is the TRUTH!

Im a white guy from Scotland - I generally dont even like hiphop, but her album is something else. She is a legend - even my 63 year old aunty thinks Lauryn is amazing. That in itself is proof enough to me of the impact she has made on folks.
