Ok, quick question. Can you lower the level requirement for a modded weapon while keeping the damage on it the way it is?

@iidorkstick It's been awhile that I played around with modding but if I remember correctly the damage on weapons were also based on level so if you reduced the level requirement you lower the base damage.

@iNvRG See, thats what I thought. I can lower the weapon, but I was hoping to keep the damage the same. I mean I can mod the shields to have the ungodly number for the compacity, but it has no level requirement. I tried setting up a weapon that was simuliar to the shield, but when i tried, the requirement for it was really high. I think it was like 4 million something. I didnt know if there was like a general way to do it or not.

also I did make sure I changed the right file 7 dots the the one things got to the FF FF and change each one seperately 00 FF the 00 47 but it just said corrupt. so how do i resign the file?

when i used this program my data was corrupted but I had copies so I was fine. do you have any reason why this happened? it doesn't ever corrupt when I use willowtree# but it did when i used the hex edit thing

@etc597 What system do you use? make sure you change the right code line or it will corrupt. I forgot most of this but if you are on 360 you need to resign the file. Willowtree already resigns it

@25danoz Inside of WillowTree in the general info tab has the level of the character. Just change it to level 70 and you should be good to go

Nice tutorial, however I would like to add that you don't need to right click and enter in the 00 48. You can just type it in without right clicking.

Also for people with a higher modded level (999) you can bring your weapons to level 999 or higher. 999 level is E7 03. 9999 is 0F 27.

For patch 1.41 you have to replace the first FF to 48 and replace the second one to 00. I hope that helps.

if you have a lot of guns at a time that you need to change instead of clicking on search just go to the one below it called replace then type in 00 FF FF 00 then replace to whatever you want but make sure you have the 0's other wise it will change every FF FF it finds and that will mess up your game

also if you want to make amazing guns all you have to do is change the item grade just like in the video and change the manufactures to none then you are now able to use any manufacture part

@epicprowess You will need to go in and hex edit the levels on the guns. It was 00 48 for level 70 just change 00 47 to make it 69

@iNvRG turned off my firewall and avg and i found the scorpio file but now when i see in game the level says 37 mill level required i'm also level 39 so i thought if 47 is to 69 than 17 must be 39 but this happens what is wrong?

@xXFarmermanXx When the character freeze thats almost always due to a overkill save. When you modded did you make any values such as money skill points etc like billions or 9999999999999 etc? you can't do that because the game can read stuff like that...

@ColeNetProductions Hex does NOT Put it in there, just willow...IT is just backup of it or a duplicate of it. You can just delete it and it will be fine or you can keep it but if you do you got to delete the".bak"part of it to work...Good luck.
