it's not very think, it's avarage coming from HTC. HTC Touch Diamond is very slick though, that is if you want this phone without a keyboard. This is just as think as TyTN II wich wasn't that think.

i think that its not helpfull that the sim card is in the back and you have to remove the bat to put it in, also that the micro sd as a difference betwen the htc kaiser who has a special slot for the sd,the touch pro doesnt have the slot to remove the sd with more whats the word quickly?? so i dont know maybe i buy one this fall but i keep my htc kaiser in the highest place

Other than that, this phone is crazy ... you also can transfer files from your PC and expand to 16GB with a microSD, the screen is big from what I see, the phone is a little thick, but it's thin (make sense?), vibrant touchflo 3D user interface, 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera, Five-row QWERTY keyboard for that textual healing, surf and download at broadband speed with WI-FI!This is the phone I been looking for. The HTC Touch Pro only looks thicker then a mogul because its overall length and width are considerably smaller then the mogul. It's actually smaller in all dimensions including thickness.

It is a very nice phone, but it is very thick... I think its even a little bit thicker than the X1.. but still very nice. It does have a bit of an N95 look to it when you see it from the side. I'd say worth the thickness if you want the nice QUERTY that comes with it.

You are absolutely correct. Apple is saving 57 dollars per iphone 3g they make unlike there older model. This was the reason for why the iphone 3g was more of a failure then the actual 2g. Some people are too dumb to realize it but the newer version is actually crappier then the old one. And news is coming in that the 3g iphone has a harder time getting signals.

Indeed, it turns out quite a few are having problems with signals. Also on the date of launch what some are unaware of is what I believe was an overload of apples patching servers with then rendered the 2nd Gen iphone (you know as iphone 3G) useless because they could not be updated.

The first iphone was pretty good, the second failed to deliver for me. Maybe the 3rd will entice me but for now I might have to go with the touch pro. 3.1MP camera with autofocus/video ftw. Also MMS and 3g! The reason that it is a bit thick is that it has to have a slide out keyboard too. The diamond is actually thinner than the iphone 3g. The screen is smaller but it has 2X the res which is more important. I hope the iphone comes out with something new in early 2009 or this phone is mine!
