Alright so I don't usually reach out and place myself in online drama because I have enough of it going on around me as it is. But this is something I have to step up and talk to you about.
I'm a member of Sekai no Melody and I also help Miri running one of the main groups there and I have a subgroup of Hello!Project myself on SnM and on my own group that I run. In the specs for auditioning Miri tells everyone that you don't have to be a good singer to be in SnM you just have to sing.
I know which version of the Man Power your talking about and I know that there are some people that were in SnM back then that had voices that were maybe a different sound compared to what others might like to hear. I'm not going to say whose voice is what because I don't feel like I need too.
But I do feel like I need to say that the way you treat another persons group is a good reflection of your own group. And if you don't understand what that means then let me explain.
"SnM SUCKS! GTFO! YOU GUYS CANT MIX FOR SHIZAT" If you feel that way about our group how do you truly feel about your group deep down?
Also if you don't like SnM Please stop stalking our boards waiting to see what we release next. It's not a suggestion or a request more as now that it's becoming an issue where people are fighting over these things in public I am making it a demand.
Friendly rivally is okay but the minute you start bickering in public and being completely rude to eachothers groups... I don't think that's right.

Oh yeah, I never mentioned that I thought this dub was pretty good xP It wasn't weak anywhere, but some of the pronounciations could be slightly better. And somehow I felt like the mixing was a liiiittle off at some parts, but I think my ears are just being weird lately. Ehe. I'll shut up now.

When I was watching this around 2:14, I heard the person that sang for Erika sing like a robot. I'm not even sure if that was singing. Please slow down in some parts, but since I am no good at being a voice critic I wont go on with further details.
Arinachi: I think you did best acually... but probbaly cause airi's parts are easiest. Lulu: your fake-cuteness is getting a bit annoying. Sing more naturally to show your real talent :)
This was nice, and since I was in the same song for KM a long while back, it's kinda refreshing another rendition of the same song, and not hearing my voice in the song. Hahaha (am I the only person who finds her own voice irritating? =_= hahah)
The timing is a bit off though, some were singing too fast. But that was it. I still like it.

again, thank you for your advice. and i do take all my critiques profesionally. i learned to do that a long time ago. but just to clear things up my sister is still in high school so yes she hasn't graduated yet. and as for the language of japanese, i'm not that great at learning it all so i'm never going to be fluent in it. just being able to speak it and read hiragana, katakane, and some kanji is good enough for me.
FYI, Japanese is the third most spoken language in the world. That means if She learns it correctly, It'll actually get her a career in anything. Not just songing either. How about when you comment, please sound educated as much as possible because the way you sound, it feels like you haven't even graduated from high school yet =P

by saying those crap (excuse me -_-) it just means you dont care enough for that other person to not improve for any other auditions or what not. Yes not every japanese people in the US can speak japanese because of the lack of learning. however, if anybody has nerves to make dubs as an audition, I feel they should learn the correct pronounciation of the language in order to get an agent. You have to think about this in the real world dear. =/
lilgirl715- um sorry but if you weren't a part of the group, i'd say that you shouldn't say anything at all. You're defending your friend or sister or whatever, but she/he has to improve. I'm not saying that person is pronouncing it soooo horribly. that person should just fix the mispronounciation of some words.
Right, now go work on your rhythm (It drags; use a metronome). If you've had real voice training with a real vocal instructor who actually performs, you wouldn't have a high voice that comes from the throat. In this piece, you used your throat because the sound came from your nose. but anyways, just get a real instructor; it'll make your other dubs sound better as well. you're an alto or a contra-alto so dont force that high voice because it sounds bad plus it's bad for your throat.
everything that you put here is true. the tummy muscles, throat singing, etc. i did have a teacher who did perform and i'm just starting out so yeah i agree about the throat, but i haven't actually used my throat in most of my dubs. seira's i did and i stopped after that. plus i forgot to mention i was lazy and sitting down while singing this so minus for me on that. and yes i am japanese, but i never grew up learning it, but i do know how to pronounce...just not...fluently i guess you could say
Now as for the person with the solo on 3:05 Her rhythm is off and and is under the pitch most of the time. Your voice could go higher than that but you might not know that because of the lack of voice training. Just keep that in mind; i hope you improve. Anyways keep trying! Improve!
actually i noticed that my voice was lower than everyone else. i was singing with my normal voice and i didn't know that everyone had such high pitch voices XD it can go higher than that now that i've practiced and i have had voice training, but thank you for the advice

I feel that the group did pretty okay, but I feel that if you guys actually got together and practiced as a group, it would have been a lot better. Most of the timing of the voice and the music was off, but that could be fixed with more practice. =)

Constructive criticism could be said nicer. So please do say it nicer. But comments that say nothing but, "You suck. I hate you." should just be deleted. This was nice, and since I was in the same song for KM a long while back, it's kinda refreshing another rendition of the same song, and not hearing my voice in the song. Hahaha (am I the only person who finds her own voice irritating? =_= hahah)
The timing is a bit off though, some were singing too fast. But that was it. I still like it.

again, thank you for your advice. and i do take all my critiques profesionally. i learned to do that a long time ago. but just to clear things up my sister is still in high school so yes she hasn't graduated yet. and as for the language of japanese, i'm not that great at learning it all so i'm never going to be fluent in it. just being able to speak it and read hiragana, katakane, and some kanji is good enough for me.

Yes not every japanese people in the US can speak japanese because of the lack of learning. however, if anybody has nerves to make dubs as an audition, I feel they should learn the correct pronounciation of the language in order to get an agent. You have to think about this in the real world dear. =/

Right, now go work on your rhythm (It drags; use a metronome). If you've had real voice training with a real vocal instructor who actually performs, you wouldn't have a high voice that comes from the throat. In this piece, you used your throat because the sound came from your nose. but anyways, just get a real instructor; it'll make your other dubs sound better as well. you're an alto or a contra-alto so dont force that high voice because it sounds bad plus it's bad for your throat.

everything that you put here is true. the tummy muscles, throat singing, etc. i did have a teacher who did perform and i'm just starting out so yeah i agree about the throat, but i haven't actually used my throat in most of my dubs. seira's i did and i stopped after that. plus i forgot to mention i was lazy and sitting down while singing this so minus for me on that. and yes i am japanese, but i never grew up learning it, but i do know how to pronounce...just not...fluently i guess you could say

Now as for the person with the solo on 3:05 Her rhythm is off and and is under the pitch most of the time. Your voice could go higher than that but you might not know that because of the lack of voice training. Just keep that in mind; i hope you improve. Anyways keep trying! Improve!

actually i noticed that my voice was lower than everyone else. i was singing with my normal voice and i didn't know that everyone had such high pitch voices XD it can go higher than that now that i've practiced and i have had voice training, but thank you for the advice

I feel that the group did pretty okay, but I feel that if you guys actually got together and practiced as a group, it would have been a lot better. Most of the timing of the voice and the music was off, but that could be fixed with more practice. =)
