  • I think people forget about how much crap music was around in the 60s as well as the good stuff (much like today, crazy that).

  • 2 people havn't seen 'Die Hard: With A Vengeance'.

  • great promo film from these guys.no bad lyrics or awful noisy music like today's stuff.those two who dislike it must be related to count dracula,or got sunburned.

  • Die hard 3 !!!!

  • this is nothing like hard days night i cant stand people who think the world started and ended with the beatles

  • High tide, summer in the city, kids are looking pretty...

  • Verano en la Ciudad, una cancion psicodelica y a la vez profunda acerca de la generacion de los 60´s y sus deseos de cambiar al mundo.. pero que bien podria aplicarse a esta generacion 10´s ag!!

  • Love the visuals, crafted in the style of the Beatles' Hard Days Night, which were copied by the producers of The Monkees TV show, and then by the producers of this.

  • I could never get tired of this song or any song from the 60's and 70's.

  • would have loved to hang out with this band.

  • In the summertime - Mungo Jerry or Summer in the city - Lovin' Spoonful

  • Amy Winehouse disliked this ! Oh wait... she's dead

  • @Goodtimee777 Suddenly, the music industry is classier.

  • Great audio quality! ^^

  • Zalman Yanovsky RIP

  • Watch out for dog shit in the sandbox.

  • @PorkyDress Or when it bakes on the sidewalk on a hot summers day. You can even see it steaming before it hardens like pottery. The little flies' legs get caught in there. You can see hear them crying with their teeny voices "help me! help me!" Don't try to put them out of their misery, you'll end up with a mess on your shoes ... or worse - barefoot. Sometimes it's best to let nature take it's course.

  • @IButtFuckAlienPedos Yes you are correct. I like this Loving Mouthfull song but dogshit is all over the place in the summer. Its better not to be in the city.

  • DIE HARD 3 starting song ;)

  • It's nice to see artists in the recording studio but with this being a summer song, I was expecting to see more tha less, NYC on a hot summer day.

  • When my chest literally aches like this when I listen to this, I expect it's a good song!

  • Those were the days my friend..

  • Parce que c'est l'été!

  • 1:04 - 1:06

That just does not look right.

Sums up the era appropriately, though ;D

  • thanks to joe cocker

  • My Ears just got laid.

  • Love the song. The video looks like the Spoonful were definitely inspired by the Beatles' film "A Hard Day's Night". doesn't it? I was a teenybopper myself back when this song first came out.

  • 108 likes 0 dislikes says something

  • neat vid.

  • I love the 90s but this song makes me wanna live i the 60s

  • @hgurmilan it was a time never to be again... before AIDS, trust me, we had a ball, LITERALLY!

  • @zbestwun2001 So right! fun music, for me b4 Christ, but a fun time to be young. Almost 57

  • brillant soul wrote this song and gave it away

  • This song's got vibe.

  • This was one of the best songs of the sixties. It had a sixties flavor and it made sense! So much of the stuff today is just a bunch of pointless, meaningless noise.

  • @gdosic I totally agree and have been thinking this about all the songs from back then, so very different.

  • @gdosic What?! It's from the sixties?! It sounds like a new one, like it was composed yesterday! I guess this kind of musi is inmortal...

  • @gdosic Talking about noise I would say that noise can be used as a tool to evoke thoughts and emotions, there is a fine line between avant-garde and noise but if it's making you think then its not pointless and the meaning is what you give it. However if your talking about the commercial drivel, super compressed then blasted through the airwaves at the loudest possible level, for the sole purpose of lining the pockets those uncreative at the expense of the creative then yes I fully agree.

  • @gdosic It still IS one of the best songs today! They just dont make em like they used to!

  • @gdosic I wish I could just read ONE comment on a music video from a past decade that compliments the past, WITHOUT needing to insult the present to do so.

  • @holycow818181, I know but it is very hard to not compare our sorry state of music & culture with the theirs more innocent & still hopeful against the odds.

  • @holycow818181 You are right on that!!!

  • @gdosic Fair enough, I'll get off your lawn now.

  • brilliant song !!!!!!!!

  • awsome atmosphere!!!

  • classic
