These guys are magnificent and timeless. Several people remarked that their parents had heard them years earlier. I first heard them in 1965 when I was 19; I'm still amazed at the age of 62! Twilight Zone and Radar Love never grow stale and these guys are also really great musicians who keep challenging themselves and continue growing. This is a band that is not sufficiently appreciated. Magical! A real gift to everyone!

i can definatly say that he wasn't that bad. i hated the delay on the drums in the begining. i think he used the delay to get from the floor toms on the right to the ones on the left... he definatly hid when he dropped sticks and stuff... not completly obvious picking up a new one. the jacket thing? wow... don't know what to think of that. guess it's good for the drummer on the go? just never mind the snakes of cables coming out the back...

Ginger Baker dished out a 20 minute drum solo that totally steamrolled Golden Earring before they even cameout to play.

I saw Golden Earring back in 1973-74 on tour with Rush & KISS. The drummer had every imaginable drum and percussion on stage, including timpani or kettle drums. Did a solo for 15 minutes going from one drum to the next with all of the percussions and cymbals et al. I was just floored. Besides Golden earring and Rush doing a better concert than KISS, both bands performed as musicians better than KISS could dream of. Good to see Golden Earring still going today.
