Olivia de Havilland was so sweet and pretty in this. She must have been so young. She made the perfect Melanie. Sweet, simpering, sort of a push over Melanie Hamiltion, when in real life, Olivia is everything but.

And Vivien Leigh is an angel from heaven. I have never seen a person so beautiful.

a beautiful tribute to the greatest of ALL films. the music is very touching,, and seeing this great actors looking at themselves, chatting, smiling...is just lovely. i must said that my heart belongs to vivien, have never seen such a creature!!, but olivia, leslie and clark, all together, makes this classic, the only real work of ART in cinema history. carlos

I don't think anyone hates Leslie Howard they simply don't care for him as Ashley Wilkes If you've ever read the book you'd know what I mean. I simply can't see Scarlett chasing after this Ashley for 12 years when she has Rhett. Makes no sense.

This is so touching. Music is perfect. They were all so young. And we know how each story ends don't we? Why do people Hate Leslie Howard, Ashley Wilkes? You know he died serving his country, Great Britain, during WWII? His plane was shot down. How can you hate this actor?

@MyCaprice1 So who does not like Leslie? I never knew about this. I love him, he was amazing and very handsome. I think it's a shame if people know him only in GWTW because he played much better parts than Ashley Wilkes I think. Clark Gable was utterly gorgeous also!
