  • Crap, I want to be in your class

  • @OrigamiMotion

    I don't teach anymore.

I am now just a sad lonely guy doing freelance.

I might not have much to offer in areas of education now but I could use a company.

If I ever go for a trip to your country we could have Tea :)

  • @Bracerjack

    green tea? :)

  • @OrigamiMotion

    Your treat.

  • this is so cool! i saw it on the website. i dont understand your tutorial on making the helmet at all. the result looks great although the jaw is a little on the big side. heck its awesome though!

  • @SirWillig

    Thank you Will Grantham.

I see that you are learning Cinema 4D, how is that coming along ?

  • @Bracerjack Well i have pretty much gotten to grips with it now, do you think you could do a video version of your iron man tutorial? because i really wanna have a go at this and im not sure which tools to use

  • @SirWillig

It's doesn't matter, edge modeling is a concept native to a lot of modeling programs.

  • @Bracerjack okay then.

  • @Bracerjack oh okay, is there any other way?

  • @SirWillig

There are many ways to go about modeling, but I almost ALWAYS fall back on edge modeling.

  • @Bracerjack okay, il keep trying. i have started using schematics to see if that helps

  • You are amazing man! Thanks for sharing.

  • @harboroflight

    Awww :)

  • Do I see some star trek themed stuff in there?

  • @zck20200

    Sir yes Sir!

    It's LCARS :D

  • one probelem

    alittle to rough

  • @altiairdavinci661

    I absolutely agree.

  • your face look so happy

  • @nanohawk2

If we exclude those days where I cry myself to sleep, yeah. :)

  • that's pretty damn neat.

  • @hallis1

    Thanks Handsome :)

    Nice Guitar Skills :D

  • heh startrek and ironman.. nice

  • why is there holes

  • WTF with the artifacts?

  • Say what now ?

  • This is due to the fact that the model started out life in High Poly, and i use a auto degeneration program to decrease the number of polys for the 3D model.

Due to it being an automated process, without me going in and fixing it, the N-Gon shows itself as black holes that pop up every now and then.

  • Looks like "StarTrek: The Next Generation" -graphics mixed with Iron Man to me.

  • It is :D

    That's why I say LCARS & Ironman :)

  • WOOW awsome video!

  • any way to fix those polys that annoyingly dissapear, kinda ruins the effect :P

  • @jubjub250

The only way would be to model from scratch, a low poly version of the Helmet.

I have better things to do, like watch the Big Bang Theory ;p Haaaaaaaaa

  • Do i need a program or software to activate this in my webcam?

  • Nope, you just need a webcam and the Flash Player Plugin which your computer probably have :)

  • do i need a program or software for this?? please reply I love this

  • i like this awesome

  • u china bastard!!go and fuk urself

  • Im not hip to this tech...what is this?

  • @TheAristoi

    Some Augmented Reality Crap :)

  • This is remarkable!! I LOVE the LCARS interface...it has remained one of my favorite forms of computer interface for as long as i can remember...even if it hasn't really existed outside of the star trek-'verse...lol. What you have accomplished here is nothing short of INCREDIBLE...augmented reality through the use of a webcam...simple technology that almost everyone has at there disposal!

  • I can relate to the love of LCARS :)

There is just something...super Tech about it.

  • I just came buckets

  • Just LCARS in 3D was cool, but who would've guessed you could manipulate it like this? Awesome!

Makes me sorry I lost my webcam (I wanna try it).

  • @Imacuser223

I am so sorry you lost your webcam, you always have this video to show you how it looks like :D

  • Very cool but you need to update the refresh-rate (cam & effect) and add some dampening into it.

Otherwise, this is quite remarkably awesome.

If you could find a way to do this in realtime and display it on something portable or even on a helmet mounted display system, you're really in business.
