Famous Hippy Bus? Please- Hippies drove buses because they were cheap at junkyards and you could sleep in it. You don't know when that was painted like that.It could have been in a parade in 1990 for all we know.
That bus is beyond repair, basically it will end up being a new bus with the amount of work needed. Maybe sell it to some rich wanted to be a hippie type and start with a better used bus. There is some idiot with too much money who thinks owning this old buss somehow makes them as hip as the original people whose souls created the mystique.
It's amazing to come across this. I was in the Taos area for a while during 1969 and remember much interesting craziness. That bus looks weirdly familiar...
do you remember "shoot the blue goose" and btw romdos's name was Richard Alpert.
