also, tard, its important to note that if the history of the earth is what we are considering than we should be okay with global temperatures on the order of 4 or 5 degrees celsius hotter or several degrees colder. once upon a time it might have very well been frozen solid, that doest mean its cool if it were to happen currently.

Tell me Exxon doesn't have a reason to want to make the science behind climate disruption seem inconclusive. Many other think tanks were funded in the same way, and bingo, you have national confusion.

I am however against the notion that we as humans are causing global warming (and facts prove that we play almost no role in it). You so called revamping of economical systems should come though free market innovations and NOT govt. mandates, considering that cap and trade bill will do nothing but drive people into poverty.

I want to see the sources, the authors, who did a peer review (if one was done), and anything else that demonstrates credibility like the overwhelming amount of reports that do indeed prove the undeniable link between human activity and our impact on the global climate system.

But warning and evacuation systems have only omproved because of energy-intensive technological development. Places with a low "carbon footprint" still have 100s of thousands die in storms.
