Why more property tax increases? 10-11%+ increases to provide for city infrastructure & new housing development plans? Our city is not that old and we already pay out our nose! You would think that because our property taxes cost much more per tiny parcel of land than other developed cities, that we should be covered. Look @ cities where housing development is 1-2 acres per lot, how come they aren't suffering, even with much lower taxes? I'm tired of not understanding where our money goes.

The Living Art Centre is cool, but it would have been better if they had put the Hershey Centre behind it. It would have been a better start at building a downtown. Instead, they put it in the middle of an industrial area because the land was cheaper and kids can't get there. Typical planning in Mississauga: let's make everything disjointed, promoted by Hazel herself. Let's hand out building permits to balance the budget with no thought to planning How will she balance the budget now?

Yet not once were Youth (or Poverty) mentioned in THIS video.

Our Police Chief's report to Peel Council made considerable mention of Poverty being one of the many risk factors for Youth violence and crime.
