  • Duplicate you is the best glitch ever :D I had good times owning guards from the other side of the map XD

  • Yeah. That's nice. So how many people have come across this bug? By the way, how many games have you programmed?

  • Booooo hooooooooooooooooooo

2 Glitches and you bitch about them???? It sucks, yes, but no one creates glitch free games, and there is always that glitch that will break the game. Sucks for you, but they did a better then average job with the game. I haven't seen a single glitch to this day, and I've had it since right after it came out.

  • i have assassins creed on 360 and ther was nothing wrong with it,so theres apparently somethin wrong with ur system or ur game.by the way,try erasing ur memory of AC and restarting the game.

  • To save yourself trouble next time, please read the entirety of the comments - this way you'd know that we can replicate this on command on ANY system (in turn, it's available on every single copy of the game; unless it's been recently patched).

  • ps3 doesn't have these glitches when i played it

  • hey same thing happend to my cousin we will never get to finish the game or get all the achivments...

  • I MEANT to say I haven't run into any of them, but I think that's because I haven't searched for them. Are they that difficult to come across accidentally? I seriously doubt that 60% of games could come across these glitches randomly, but maybe I'm wrong.

  • With most games(especially those using the Havok's physic engine), I can find glitches by looking for them. But in this instance, I just stumbled into them. However; after doing so I went back multiple times to see if I could recreate them(and I could, wherein came the motivation for the video)

  • I haven't run into any of them.

  • the original prince of persia was impossible to complete too...another ubisoft title.

  • xbox sucks, it overheats if you play too long.... and if you are a serious gamer.... get a PS3.

  • Yeah, let's not even get into a PS3 vs 360 debate. It'll boil down into retards(from both sides) yelling at each other with nonsensical opinions.

That said, serious gamers don't get only a PS3 or only a 360(or a Wii for that matter). They get every available console, wherein they will have the option to play whatever exclusive title they want at will. End of story.

  • Or a crazy ass good comp ^.^

  • ok assassins creed isnt that terrible

ive heard rumors that the double altair glitch thing is some sort of easter egg

about the crash... well, off to xbox 360 hell, i guess

  • Secondly, your essentially saying that this game is impossible to complete because of programing bugs, but that is not the case as I, and many many many other people have completed this game. Its just your copy, or your system. Any normal person would just return the game and play the new copy, others just bitch and cry about it on the internet I guess :)

  • 1)This is a fairly normal bug, as many people have reported it(both on youtube and on gaming forums, looking for a "fix").

2)The system crash is not because of the 360 hardware, as much as it is based on the title itself. Just as with many pc titles, any random bug can cause a system crash or lock and this is just an example of that.

  • 3)For any proof that this bug is not only legit, but fairly common just do some searches on THIS site itself. There are a multitude of videos out now showcasing this same problem.

4)This game is nowhere near perfect, even from a design standard. It's tedious, short, and filled with bugs, glitches, and randomly stupid AI faults. However, I never said that it wasn't FUN.

  • Keep in mind that even if I finished this title(note: I was on my way to finishing the game 100% until this happened), I would've uploaded a video showcasing these bugs and glitches anyways.

Either way, the giant programming flaws in this title do NOT change my opinion of the title for better or worse. I still think it's a fun title that will find it's pacing and overall flow fixed in later sequels.

  • But, I will say that I still stand by my opinion that this game is an overhyped, rushed, buggy, and tedious affair that UbiSoft should be held accountable for. Also, I believe that 90% of the fans out there were disappointed solely based on their own stupidly high expectations(while we sat here and knew exactly what we were getting into), which explains the critical backlash it's received from the industry.

  • mikesatomicdustbin: keep in mind that this is a fault in the game, that can be recreated(and has been done so), so it's definitely not a "magic copy" of some game that is causing the bugs(or the system magically creating programming errors on the disc). We've tried this on multiple systems with different copies of the game and it's shown up approx 60% of the time.

  • There are ample videos giving full walkthrough and instructions on how to perform the Double Altair glitch, and all you need to do is search this very website with the words "Double Altair".

However, I'd love an explanation as to how every single person that performed this glitch(not to mention those that give detailed walkthroughs as to how to recreate the bug) magically "edited" them into their videos using video editing software.

  • Most Assasin's Creed fans insist it's not so much a "faulty copy" as it is a "faulty print run" or "just a 360 problem".

  • None of this happened with my copy, even after I went to re-create what you did here - the bit with the twin characters looks poorly edited on a pc and as for that system crash, well, thats what you get for playing on a 360.

Dont try and knock a perfectly good game.

  • Well your not going to get an explanation, because I don't care enough to go and look at more videos about this :p The game does havea few bugs, and is pretty short I'll give you that, however yo seem to be quite into this whole...thing...so I'll just leave you to it. I reccomend the orange box, you probably played hl2 already as it is quite old but if you havn't the orange box will deffinatley give you your moneys worth.

  • I think they said any usb things exapt the wired controllers of course, just try it.

  • Now from this town you should be able to go to arsuf and complete the mission without any glitches..... sounds strange but it worked for me.

The second thing I want to say is that the game is pretty buged but it still is one of the best games I've ever played and I cant wait for the second part.

P.S. tell me if that worked for you.

  • While I appreciate your input, I'm currently only using wired 360 controllers. So until I get ahold of some wireless ones this option you gave me won't work. However, I don't like the game any less, even with the glitches. It's a fabulous(if not horribly repetitive and tedious) title that will find it's respective gameplay groove in later sequels.

  • Ok I've had the exact same problem and this is how I managed it: First, take off all the usb stuff from the xbox like the chargeing kit for the wireless controller or the usb w-lan adapter, than restart the xbox. You should be in the last town before Arsuf now. Go out of the gate and teleport to the nearest town next to Arsuf (forgot the name).

  • thats reassurance that my 60 bucks was well spent.

    T_T

  • major a bug, with Piranha Bites you would at least get some Met

  • That glitch where theres two of you is awesome and you know it

  • Oh, I know it's awesome. But the freezing/inability to finish the game? Not so much.

  • its co-op ass holes

  • lol i got a burnt copy and it works better than that

  • lol

  • LOL wow... thats some seriously gay ass shit lol

  • thats some repugnant shit.
