the black eyed lucistic is not albino but pretty close, and the wolf the shark and the grasshopper and roach jsut got done molting and thats just what insects look like after they molted and the spider is just white not a albino
White people always tell on themselves. Only when white people find rare white animal mutations do they make a spectacle of it. What does this reveal about their subconscious? Totally racist and white supremacist...
the spider wasnt albino, its a species of crab spiders and they are naturally white to blend in with the flowers they inhabit in. and that "butterfly" isnt a butterfly, its a moth, and its not albino.
we have albino and white mutation. albino=lack of pigment, not only on hair/fur/ feathers but also on other body with pigment, (like eyes), so albino animals usually have white skin and colorless eyes (not always red). white mutation=rare genetic mutation (recessive gene) causing hair/fur/feather become white/brighter. very easy to differ on tigers, albino tigers have white skin, no stripes but tigers with white mutation have black & white/bright brown/yellow stripes.

id have to agree not all these are albino some are just white mutations witch in some cases are rarer albino means no skin pigmentation white mutatins realy is just white replaceing the original pigmentation albino end up with skin cancer whites dont and some of thse alimals are nether albino or white just lighter shades
Ok, you can argue the point of whether these things are albino or just "white mutation" however, your title states "real albino". Not "real white animals (some albino, some white mutation)". Not even "white mutation and albino animals". People clicked on your video to see "albino" animals. Just suck it up and tell everyone you're sorry for being an idiot.
i'm to lazy to change the title.;p I'm an idiot? i can even tell you the difference between albino &white mutation. also, it's hard to differ albino or white animals in most animals, unless you do some genetic research. although it's very easy to differ on tigers, albino tigers have white skin, no stripes but tigers with white mutation have black & white/bright brown/yellow stripes. most sources (where these pics were from) just easily called these animal albino.
@InvitedCracker youre dumb a white mutation is the same as albino, albino IS a MUTATION that causes animals to be born with out their natural pigmentation.
albino = a congenital disorder, lack of pigment, in the skin, hair/fur/ feathers and eyes, so albino animals usually have white/bright skin/furs/feathers and red eyes. albino may also occur on humans.
you're right .some of these are not albino, but white mutation.albino=lack of pigment, not only on hair/fur/ feathers but also on other body with pigment, (like eyes), so albino animals usually have white skin and colorless eyes (not always red). white mutation=rare genetic mutation (recessive gene) causing hair/fur/feather become white/brighter.very easy to differ on tigers, albino tigers have white skin, no stripes but tigers with white mutation have black & white/bright brown/yellow stripes.
There are albino things and there are white things. Just because something is white does not make it "albino". True albinos have pink eyes, poor eye sight, don't do well in sunshine and usually don't survive long in the wild. I have three ferrets, two of which are white. One is an albino with pink eyes and one is a Dark Eyed White (DEW) with black eyes.

yes. it has genetic mutation called leucism. leucism is caused by a reduction in all types of skin pigment, not just melanin. albino is just a reduction of melanin
@leoapp1223 That cockroach isnt albino, he had just molted into his adult stage and that is why he has lost all pigment, same with any insect that molts, they turn white.
yes, actually not all of these are albino, some are white mutation and some are as you said, molting phase, well basically similar problem: losing/lack of pigment
Try looking up pieballed(spelling is prob wrong) it is an animal with a white spot covering its entire body....or a large portion.....like your chimp and the alligator.....houston zoo has one and it is not albino.
A piebald is an animal, such as a horse or ball python, that has a spotting pattern of large unpigmented (sometimes expressed as white) areas and normally pigmented patches (usually black)
well, piebald is term for animals (such as a horse or ball python or even bird), that has a spotting pattern of large unpigmented areas(usually expressed as white, but not always, can be bright brown, bgray, etc) and normally pigmented patches (usually black, but not always). the undrelying cause is genetic mutation called leucism, unlike albino, leucism is caused by a reduction in all types of skin pigment, not just melanin.
we have albino and white mutation. albino = lack of pigment, not only on hair/fur/ feathers but also on other body parts related to pigment, (like eyes), so albino animals usually have white skin and colorless eyes. white mutation = rare genetic mutation (recessive gene) causing hair/fur/feather become white/brighter,without lack of pigment. very easy to differ on tigers, albino tigers have white skin, no stripes but tigers with white mutation have black & white/bright brown/yellow stripes.
Research needs to be done on some of the images, some of the the pictures are incorrect examples of albino species of animals, and are not properaly educatining people. The ostrich is a emu, and the horse is actually a breed of horse called a Cream Draft, not all animals are albino just because they are white, almost all albino species of animals have pink skin and red eyes in coordination with there white coats.
yes, you're right, some of these are not albinos, but aniamls with white mutation, it's a rare genetic mutation causing whole skin becomes white, the difference between albino is easy, albino animals usually have white furs, red/pink eyes , some with red/pink nose cos the problem is lack of pigment, not mutation. but the difference between albino and white mutation is easier to see on tiger, an albino tiger has black and white stripes, but a tiger with white mutation has white skin, no stripe
albino animals doesn't always have red eyes, lack of pigment may occur everywhere not only on eyes. but some of these are not true albino animals, but animals with white mutation (much rarer than albino), the difference between albino and white mutation is easier to see on tiger. albino tiger has black and white stripes but tiger with white mutation has white skin
@leoapp1223 Nope all albinos have pink eyes because they lack ANY pigment. The "white" mutation actually has several forms and is more common then albinos. Luestistic which means they have no pigment except blue (this is what many of your examples are), or flavistic which means they only have yellow pigment and are a faint cream colour like your bear (which is a black not a brown bear btw).
some are not true albino animals, but animals with white mutation (much rarer than albino), the difference between albino and white mutation is easier to see on tiger. albino tiger has black and white stripes but tiger with white mutation has white skin
Due to the lack of melanin production in both the retinal pigmented epithelium and iris, albinos typically have red eyes due to the underlying blood vessels showing through. In contrast, leucistic animals have normally coloured eyes. This is because the melanocytes are not derived from the neural crest, instead an outpouching of the neural tube generates the optic cup which, in turn, forms the retina. .
albino is lack of pigment. a lack of pigmen on skin may turn skin color into white, pink, yellow, light brown, etc. it depends on what skin, human skin (asian, negro, kaukasian), mammal skin, reptile skin, fish skin, all different. so albinos don't always have white skin
i dont think the spider is albino, monkey funny, shark not albino, dolphin, moth, bat, turkey, lizard, duck, goat, chimp?,gecko, wolf. they dont have red eyes and sme have black or grey on them
not all albino animals/humans have red eyes. all animals/humans with lack of pigment are albinos, and the lack of pigment may occur everywhere on body (hairs, feathers, fur, skins, eyes, etc), but not always on eyes.
A further difference between albinism and leucism is in eye colour. Due to the lack of melanin production in both the retinal pigmented epithelium (RPE) and iris, albinos typically have red eyes due to the underlying blood vessels showing through. In contrast, leucistic animals have normally coloured eyes. This is because the melanocytes of the RPE are not derived from the neural crest, instead an outpouching of the neural tube generates the optic cup which, in turn, forms the retina.
i have a feeling i owned twin albino cats, they were all white with a very pale tan coloring on their ears and tails, other that that they were all white with sky blue eyes. Also i had one of them breed and all of the kittens came out the same colors as the mother.
Erm I think you made some specied mistakes, 1:03 looks like an emu or rhea, 1:15 is a pale form moth, 1:26 leucistic bird of prey doesn't look like an eagle possibly a hawk, buzzard or falcon (not sure cos've pale colour)
Oh and 0:55 shark is just hit by camera flash, 1:40 is just bad shot of Weimaraner
As far as I am aware albino animals are white with red/pink eyes. Some of the animals clearly do not fulfil this criteria. Some are not even white. The title of your video is therefore misleading.
get your facts straight. 2 animals where simply a white duck, and artic wolf. and there is nothing mutant about albino creatures. albino is when you have no pigment cells
i said that not all of these are true albino, some suffer white mutation, most albino animals usually have red/purple eyes or any color which is not its usual color (but not always), the easiest way to differ albino and white mutation is on tiger, white mutated tiger won't have stripes (just white) but albino tiger will have black and white stripes.
actualy not all these animals are albinom some suffer white muttaion. albino is different with white mutation
albino is lack of pigmen, usually albino animals have reddish eyes. white mutation is very rare mutation, the pigmen is normal but the problem is genetic mutation
@INFECTEDlombax actually albinism IS a mutation. Namely a mutation or mutations in the genes that code for pigment production esp melanin.
From Bright Hub "People with albinism have hypopigmentation in their hair, skin, or eyes. What causes it? Genetic mutations that affect production of the pigment melanin. Albinism takes a number of phenotypic forms, each tied to a different type of genetic mutation."
yes, actually insects do not have pigmentation therefore they cannot be albino, but they can suffer rare mutation called white mutation. some animals i put here are not true albino animals but they suffer white
i love albino animals, i remember once a white pigeon made a nest on the window of my room XD

i have a feeling i owned twin albino cats, they were all white with a very pale tan coloring on their ears and tails, other that that they were all white with sky blue eyes. Also i had one of them breed and all of the kittens came out the same colors as the mother.

sporedude975 1 year ago
Erm I think you made some specied mistakes, 1:03 looks like an emu or rhea, 1:15 is a pale form moth, 1:26 leucistic bird of prey doesn't look like an eagle possibly a hawk, buzzard or falcon (not sure cos've pale colour)
Oh and 0:55 shark is just hit by camera flash, 1:40 is just bad shot of Weimaraner
Cool vid though

that eagle is beautiful. xD

XAwDAznX 1 year ago
i said that not all of these are true albino, some suffer white mutation, most albino animals usually have red/purple eyes or any color which is not its usual color (but not always), the easiest way to differ albino and white mutation is on tiger, white mutated tiger won't have stripes (just white) but albino tiger will have black and white stripes.

albinilism isnt a mutation X3
but great video anywayss
INFECTEDlombax 2 years ago
actualy not all these animals are albinom some suffer white muttaion. albino is different with white mutation
albino is lack of pigmen, usually albino animals have reddish eyes. white mutation is very rare mutation, the pigmen is normal but the problem is genetic mutation
leoapp1223 2 years ago
@INFECTEDlombax actually albinism IS a mutation. Namely a mutation or mutations in the genes that code for pigment production esp melanin.
From Bright Hub "People with albinism have hypopigmentation in their hair, skin, or eyes. What causes it? Genetic mutations that affect production of the pigment melanin. Albinism takes a number of phenotypic forms, each tied to a different type of genetic mutation."

what is the difference betwen albino and white mutation can some body explain me
flaffy12 2 years ago
albino: lacks of pigment, can be on skin, fur, feather, hair, etc
white mutation: rarer condition, because of gene mutation, the pigmen is normal but the gene is abnormal (mutated)
to differ between albino and white mutation, albino animals usually have reddish eyes, but not always

thanks for the info

That butterfly is actually a moth and insects cant be albino
Goatsnarfer 2 years ago
yes, actually insects do not have pigmentation therefore they cannot be albino, but they can suffer rare mutation called white mutation. some animals i put here are not true albino animals but they suffer white
