The AHS did the rihgt thing by bringing Patrick to the GSVS. But ....now their in a custody battle over poor Patrick with the Vets from GSVS....AHS want Patrick at their Popcorn Park Zoo/ shelter. And the Vets DON'T agree. There are people at GSVS who want to adopt Patrick themselves!! And after the horrors Patrick already went through in his young life...I think there is no better,loving and capable place for him than the Vets at GSVS. Don't take this away from him!
What still baffles me is how you can look into those eyes and not melt???? I look in his eyes and see both the pain he went through and the hope he has now and I tear up. Kisha Curtis, 28, is the alleged owner of the one year old puppy that was within hours of death when he was found on March 16, 2011. His emaciated body was tossed in a plastic bag and thrown down a garbage chute.

HELLO! I never advocated animal abuse. I am AGAINST animal abuse. Jesus Christ didn't come to bring "religion" to the world and His purpose was that man would be reconciled to God. I cried for a long time when I first read about Patrick's plight and saw a picture of his emaciated, near-death body, and I'm crying again now. But this time, I am crying with joy at seeing Patrick starting to recover. It is wonderful to see him start being alert and somewhat responsive. I know he's not out of the woods yet, but I'm very hopeful that Patrick will eventually be whole again - healthy and happy. The people at AHSPPZ are simply wonderful! I think animal abuse is one of the lowest of the lows. These animals can't say "I'm hungry, that hurts, why did you do that to me? What did I do wrong?" Obviously, the abuse this dog has suffered is horrific and, to me, unimaginable. I am grateful for compassionate people like the maintenance man who him and for the medical staff who immediately began life-saving efforts when not many would have questioned their decision to put him to sleep, if they had chosen to do so. It saddens me to see how some of us mistreat animals, part of God's creation that He gave us dominion over, meaning for us not only to enjoy but care for. This is a special dog.

I'm watching this video with my rescued dog sitting on my lap and feeling happy that Patrick was rescued from such an abusive situation then what do I see on the side of the screen right next to this video but a bunch of other dog videos and then one titled TEENAGER THROWS DOG FROM A BRIDGE. I cried for a long time when I first read about Patrick's plight and saw a picture of his emaciated, near-death body, and I'm crying again now. But this time, I am crying with joy at seeing Patrick starting to recover. It is wonderful to see him start being alert and somewhat responsive. I know he's not out of the woods yet, but I'm very hopeful that Patrick will eventually be whole again - healthy and happy. The people at AHSPPZ are simply wonderful! I've just spent about 5 minutes trying to come up w/a word to express how I feel about this and I can't! It is just plain sick! I think animal abuse is one of the lowest of the lows. These animals can't say "I'm hungry, that hurts, why did you do that to me? What did I do wrong?" These poor animals have done nothing wrong, they have no way of calling for help. And yet they are still loyal to their owners. This is why I have I HATE animal abusers.
