  • lol the comments are funny. haha KEEP THEM COMING!

  • Not that impressed, sorry. Bette Midler far superior, as is the original, (can't remember the name).

  • After a show John routinely stops and greets his fans like old friends. No big ego there, he's a genuinely nice guy with his feet firmly on the ground. He has a great voice and he really is a great performer.

  • Went my first John Rowles concert in my hometown on 1st September 2010 and he was fantastic. He gave me his first red rose and he even danced a few steps with me. I was able to get his autograph on a CD & a DVD which I bought from his merchandise table and I even had my picture taken with him after the show. I also had a nice chat with him and I've come away with some Very Happy Memories of the night. Hope to see him again some day real soon.

    God Bless you John.

  • Apart from a voice as good as any of the best, this song is sung from the heart. Matchless and timeless, Bette would be impressed

  • Stellar Performance! Standing "O".

  • Thank you. Now I know why his mullet was so slicked up. He still looked pretty darn good, anyhow.

  • Well to Johns defence, he had just had a wardrobe change and a shower! That is why his hair looks greasy! I was there as a young girl and started my love for Johnny!

  • Sorry for the confusion! I probably should have put seperate entries in.

  • Even though mullets were trendy in 1990 when John did this concert, the greasy looking on he sported here didn't suit him. He looked much sexier with collar lenght hair and mutton chop sideburns. His mother died a decade ago. She's in peace and with the angels in heaven.

  • I think you will find his hair is wet from perspiration, from the stage lights, and this song was towards the end of the show.

  • What has the death of Mrs Rowles got to do with John's hair style? I am confussed.

  • sad to hear his mum died :(

  • A rather sad, sick comment, think about.

  • I hope you never have to hear the death rattle of any child.

  • Kiri Te Kanawa, John Rowles - hey New Zealand, you produce the best vocal chords!

  • Good strong voice. My first time to hear him was today. But Engelbert sings this better.

  • Fantastic song, various tune sing, romantic and strong sound at the same time. John is the grater crooner of the world, now I haven't doubts!

  • knew him in melbourne as J R didnt know he was still going great singer, one up for you tube letting us find all our old favs
