As a teenager did you pay much attention to your drawing skills or did you practice it more when you got older?

@LookSomeJews Well I'm still a teenager (I'm 16 years old), but I do practice my drawing skills, yes, but then by drawing realistic images, not these surrealistic ones.

@Wobblypip My drawing teacher proposed that I should try this art style, because he saw that I liked to imagine and draw things without a reference image. I tried it and I liked it, and my teacher still gives advice and feedback to help me improve my drawings.

@Wobblypip Yeah I guess, when I realised that it was 'ok' to just draw something that doesn't necessarily make any sense, I felt so free to imagine things that it kind of started off by itself. Also, it's very hard for a teacher to give advice to someone who draws out of their mind, since he doesn't know well what the drawer has in his mind. But my teacher was still a big help for me.
