  • Just look at her mimics......she's a wery good actress.....I like this seria!

  • "Dallas" was a mess- one of the BEST of all time! I still love it.

  • they are resurrecting ol'dallas on tnt this summer.....not sure that it is a good idea as larry hagmen is 80yrs old and i think the show was good for its time but i think its time has past.....it would be like joan collins trying to comeback to play alexis at 78...she is so old...no one would care..

  • "I know we don't practice out connubial rights with anything approaching regularity, Is it possible you don't remember" LOL Hillarious!

  • drinking and prego...lol...the good old days SMH

  • Great scene from one of the best couples written for television.

  • That was a true b*tchslap.

  • too bad this video's out of synch, this scene was fabulously directed and acted.

  • "Chances are it's yours JR....and if it isn't...well...what are ya gonna do 'bout it?" LMAO

  • JR should go ahead and punched at Sue Ellen in a face.

  • "I'll do anything I want to."

Loved how the way says it. One lesson I learned. Don't mess with JR Ewing. =)

  • If she's pregnant, why the heck is she drinking?

  • This scene is true JR the Weasel material! Ha ha ha! Nobody crosses him!

  • sue ellen owned j.r. lol

  • lol take that sue ellen you SLUT

  • "I'll do anything I want to". Haha! JR was such a bad ass.

  • @jennhunt1996 And a punk! Only a punk would hit a woman.! JR would never stand up to another man,but he would slap a woman!

  • @robinquinc329 You do realize that JR was a TV villain, right? LOL!! So, you can use a lot of words to describe him....a punk, an asshole, a selfish SOB. He was all those things and more. I've been watching soaps for over 20 years, so I know how to separate fiction from reality. No need to school me. LOL!!

  • @jennhunt1996 Yes, I do realize that he was only a tv villain! But whether it was real or fiction, when a man stoops to hit a woman shows how little he is.And you are right, he is a punk ,an asshole, a selfish SOB and a bastard. And I too know how to separate fiction from reality. And I am not trying to school you. Just stating my opinion as you are yours. Nice t o hear someone else's viewpoint though. Thanks.

  • @robinquinc329 Oh, I agree with you. A man should never hit a woman. That's pretty much a non-debatable issue. I'm just taking this scene for what it is, though. And that's soapy goodness. LOL!! Nice chatting with you ;-)

  • She's insulted by his doubt because it's their baby, see this episode youtube /watch?v=lPAxv6HU9q0

    BTW - isn't love beautiful

  • What's with all the bitch stuff.... she says after he accuses HER of cheating: "I've been as faithful as you have been". Good one! She even had to remind him he was over for the weekend six weeks ago! lol I would slap him

  • (Bitch is bitching)

    SLAP!!!

Don't you ever do that again!

I DO ANYTHING I WANT TO!

    Damn, J.R. is a MAN!

  • I fucking LOVE Sue Ellen!!! NO ONE could go up against JR the way that she could. I remember watching Dallas with my Mom when I was very young. (Knots Landing, Falcon Crest and Dynasty, too)...They don't make night time soaps like Dallas anymore!

  • JR forgot, a married woman do not have illegitimate kids, even if it is not the husband's. The ultimate payback for a cheating husband..have him raise some one else's kid!

  • GREAT scene... early on when the show's writers nailed it every week

  • "I know we don't practice out comminil bribes with anything approaching regularay"

    Classic!!!!

  • *grin*

  • @Yangedd "Well, I know we don't practice our connubial rites with anything approaching regularity."

  • @Yangedd It's "our connubial rights with anything approaching regularity." Did you type that with your feet?

  • @valiumland :)))))

  • Yes, Dusty knocked her out to get her out of the bar.

  • WTF she´s drinking in her condition?

  • Back in the 70s...it was considered "ok" to have wine while preggie...even today a woman can have a glass.

  • Yeah maybe but I think its a NoGo these days to drink or smoke while preggie... just my 2 cents ;)

  • I have a friend who is almost due now...and her doc told her oneglass of wine is not going to do harm...now to drink hard liquor...and also to get drunk...of course that's a no no.

  • One glass of wine might be ok but we all know what happend to Sue Ellen later ;)

  • She should have slapped him back.

  • She didn't have to...she slapped him straight in the face with her WORDS! he was SPEECHLESS.

  • I couldn't have put it any better. TV does suck nowadays. Thank goodness for reruns. I wish some of the current writers and producers of tv shows, even daytime,

would get inspired or creative and make more memorable shows and storylines.

  • They just don't make shows like this anymore. TV is so crappy nowadays.

  • Definitely. 80's prime-time soaps were the best. Dallas, Dynasty, Falcon Crest; they were all well-written and had great actors.

  • poor jr. ,, everybody always picks on him....

  • This scene just proved how abusive JR can be as well as unscrupulous.

  • I love Sue Ellen's fashion in this clip.

She's dressed like the perfect date!

  • Classic Dallas! I love it! That damn Sue Ellen. She was always so weak. Loved JR always...he didn't give a .%&!@!

  • A few years later she would have slapped his ass back - LOL!

But it really didn't matter, though, because in a way she DID slap him back. But she did it in the way that only a woman can do it to a man.

  • A few years Later?...She got him good in THIS season remember that backwoods slap in Black Market Baby?

In this scene...she didn't HAVE to slap him physically...she knew she got him where it hurts already with the fact that she cheated on him...and the repercussions if it ever got out that the baby MIGHT not be his. *as she so elloquently stated*.

  • I love that scene! I think that was the only time JR ever slapped Sue Ellen during the series.

  • Everything wrong with this scene, is everything that makes it so bloody wonderful!!

  • He bitch slapped her.

  • I love that show.

  • JR seldom is seen drinking alone unless there's a problem.

  • That was the only time JR bitch-slapped Sue Ellen. My guess is that was a controversial move at the time, and of course it would be very taboo today. I love how JR pours his preggers wife an alcoholic drink!

  • A man slapping his wife...in 1979...Controversial...Nope.

Her slapping hi in Black Market Baby might have been though.

  • it's still ok today--some women are bitches. i do not advocate abuse of any kind, but if some bitch hit me i would deck her

  • @delidude1999 - yeah some men are mofo's, when a guy bitches it's justified to bitch back

  • I love the way JR says "I'll do anything I want too"

  • @stell29 He sound like a little boy the way he said that lol

  • @stell29 Sue Ellen is a very bad woman as an alcoholic.

  • Linda ROCKS that scene!! xx

  • Shows how unrepentant JR is here! He's the father of John Ross, and he won't own up to it. And the fact that he won't apologize to Sue Ellen for the slap makes him a reprobate!

  • he didnt know he was the father -- hethought it was cliff barnes' baby--and she deserved what she got
