  • hello.. where's the ingredients??

  • k..so the last few videos I watched, including this one..does not tell you how much of each ingredient, or how long to bake and at what temp, uh, hello, I already know how to make "dough" and the "tips and tricks" but come on, I wanna make a pie already!!

  • wow rolling it around the rolling pin is a great idea for transferring to the pie pan. That's where my dough always tears.

  • This is a great instructional video. How long and at what temperature do you bake the pie when "blind baking"? I am contemplating baking a chicken pot pit. Please help!

  • One tsp of cider vinegar added to the water will stop the formation of some of the gluten and help keep the crust from getting tough.

  • This video is not about a recipe. It's a video about some of the techniques used in pie baking. It's useful to me, I have a recipe but I want to make sure I do this right ;P

  • i know the ingredients >w<

    -2 cups flour

    -big bowl of butter

    -some tablespoons of water :}

  • wow like i know the ingrediets

  • ilikethisvireo

  • wtf? I gotta guess at the ingredients?

  • Honestly, you can just poke a large amount of holes into the crust with a fork and that will keep it from bubbling, no problem. Make sure to get the sides of the pan too.

  • no ingredients??

  • @Lemon17ful Usually for every cup of flour you use 1 whole stick of butter and 10 tsp of ice cold water. That should help. Chill the butter and cut into small pieces.

  • Yeah yeah yeah...How much of the ingredients???????

  • what the h*** where those beads in the pie??

  • @thekaliko im not so sure but i think its so that theres weight on the crust for some reason

  • @IMAQTQ8Y you're right - I saw them in the store and they are to keep the crust from bubbling when precooking.

  • @thekaliko

They are called pie weights, to keep the crust from pulling away from the sides and shrinking up during the baking process. You only use when filling a crust with something like pudding or lemon meringue when you need a pre baked pie shell. Some people use uncooked hard beans or rice...you can resue them a few times but they tend to burn. Pie weights are best to use. Hope that helps you.

  • It goes to show, they assume that we know what they do!

How much of the ingredients do we need??

  • amount of ingredients please

  • I love pie

  • Wow, that was really helpfull

  • ZOMGZOR! PIE!!
