Aside Elvis Presley, Jerry Vale is also one of my favorite classical singer.. his voice is so smooth and i always listen to his music.. thank you for sharing this!
A lost era indeed... Those were the times when people are sane enough to enjoy sweet and uplifting music like this one. What we have this time is trash.
I had the Honor of meeting Mr.Jerry Vale last night at a Frankie Valli concert. The man looks great and what a voice. His songs are for people who are eternally in love, I told him he sang like the Angels and he kissed my hand!! A Gentleman.
I may sound corny, but, when mom died in 2003 this is one of the two songs that only come to my mind. What a good mother she was and death can't tell me to stop loving her. I don't know the title of the other song but it has a line that goes.."... your love is all that I need......your love is everything to me..". Thank you for posting this song, I've been looking for this.
I don't think that you sound corny Earlier when I was making spaghetti dinner I had a flash back--- to when I was a kid. My Papa [father] loved to take our family to an Italian restaurant [Mama Mia's] I started crying because I remembered how much he loved taking us there and I could remember so well being there with the antipasta, breadsticks, the lil bowl of parmesan cheese It was a real back then treat to go out to dinner. Papa also loved Jerry Vale & we're not even Italian LOL
again not corny - my mom and dad are still with us - but everytime I see jerry vale vinyl albun covers - I think of them - as they have hundreds of the old albums and when I was a child I use to go through them and play them on the phonograph. I'll never not associate jerry with my mom & dad - and I owe my wide appreciation for music to them. thx for posting these songs. jerry will always be one of my fav artists
I wish we still had my parents albums. My parents both played the organ and I took a few lessons when i was a girl. My father passed and my mom has Alzheimer's and now I playing the organ again. I have a box full of music and boy does it bring back memories of my folks playing. I found a small tape recorder with my father taking lessons at home. How sweet it is---- to hear his voice him & playing.
I'm glad your folks are still here. May God bless you all.
@jyou are blessed for appreciating these songs. never stop listening. these are the classic memories of your parents. Your parents were wise to get you listening. The garbage music of today cannot compare in a million years to these wonderful lyrics and voices. honey 28/10
one of the most profound singers of our time, takes this song to a level that is just stunning to the sound of ones ear listening to this great classic song!!!
one of the most favorite song of my beloved husband he is now in heaven.i love him very much i miss you honey this song reminds me always you are always in my heart. i love you
All my life, it's been Frank, Dean, and Tony, damn, even though he made his millions in the past, Jerry Vale deserves so much more recognition today as the others...he is awesome....
this song was dedicated to me by my Military Ball Partner name Roger Guhao from Davao. I don't know where he is now. He was my crush during that time. I was thankful he asked me to be his partner in their Ball though I didn't know how to dance. He really was a very good singer.
I which I can tell my hear to stop loving you but that is impossible to do
