Yes I agree that shorts should be optional,as long as you stick to the school colour code it should'nt matter weather the child wears long or short pants.Back in the day when I went to school Mum would put me into grey shorts in mid April I stay in them until the the weather got very cod mid Nov.I loved wearing them as a I had more freedom of movement in them ,I wore them ever year to age13.The only down side was dad would spank legs off me if I was bad and it really hurt
Im the mother or 2 boy & girl at the start of school year I decided to dress Davin(10)in tradicional shorts just like the ones in the video clip.David got a beautiful tan to his legs during the summer holidays,I think the shorts up to their thigh look very good on primary school boys, they also show David's tan off very well.In mid november I put a long school pants out for him,the next morning he came down dressed in his shorts&long socks.David&his friend still wear their shorts today.
theses kids are so angelic,I went to an all boys catholic school back in in the 70s our uniform was just like the boys in the picture, green jumper white shirt gray shorts,we wore ankle length socks in the summer.
no mobis,no laptops,no computer games to be heard of then.... wtf has society done to the future of todays kids.. innocence has gone, feed the brain full of shite and youve got what we have today...
I think so, I used to wear shorts and knee long socks, and this was back in 1999 verging to 2000, I think they have removed them though now, I attended St.Anthony's, excellent school great priests the best people ever!
thats upstairs in one of the rooms that you had to walk thru to get to another room. confused sentiments i know, but you old austins ppl know what i mean.

@Redcarpet01 He NEVER agitated for Roman withdrawal. He point blank refused ever to get drawn into the political controversies of the day.

@chaucerave So he was a Jewish nationalist that didn't oppose the occupation of his country....that's a bit far fetched
