It's an interesting video. As an Irishman I've been to Berlin a couple of times and there are plenty of places to see/visit, some of which is included in this video. Recommend a visit to the Bundestag and a walk around places likes Unter Den Linden, Friedrickstrasse. Thanks for loading this video, it brought back some happy memories of trips past to Berlin!

This video brings back good memories for me. I was born and raised in Berlin and I remember the devastation that was all around after the war. I lost my grandparents from the American bombing in 1944 and remember how hard it was for my mother to take care of me and my 2 brothers. My father was in a Russian POW camp till I was 4 years old. Berlin has become a great city again!

re: Gardens; in the Rheinpark across the river from Köln is a garden created for the Bundesgartenschau of 1971 (I think). The concept is very modern. To get the full effect, you have to walk up a ramp; the color combinations seem to change with the taller flowers blending with the middle and shorter flowers. It's spectacular. I've only seen something like that in Germany.

re: Gardens; in the Rheinpark across the river from Köln is a garden created for the Bundesgartenschau of 1971 (I think). The concept is very modern. To get the full effect, you have to walk up a ramp; the color combinations seem to change with the taller flowers blending with the middle and shorter flowers. It's spectacular. I've only seen something like that in Germany.

No terrorism, comparative low crime rate...(f.ex. compared to the U.S.), everything's fine around here. I'm almost 30 years old and I was raised in Germany: Never got robbed, never got offended - everything's fine. ;-)
