I'm very fortunate that the PS2 Wizardry game, subtitled "Tale of the Forsaken Land" does not have an age stat, otherwise I would be on my seventh party of the game and still on the first floor.
Amateurs...........Characters can also get really old by changing classes a lot.
I had the best Wizardry characters EVER (without using external cheating software). I had a level 40 Ninja who cast every spell (used to be a Bishop). His armor class was -10 without wearing any! Believe it because it's true. There are tons of cool magic items if you put the time in (Lords Garbs, Murasama Blade, etc.).
@mrrjenkims Not sure if Ninja armor is calculated the same in the 2nd part of the trilogy, but for kicks I used a coin of power and turned a level 200 fighter into a ninja, and he ended up with -62 armor. For some reason though, he still got hit alot.. Ninjas also suck overall in Wiz II: KoD.
The only way your guys get really old is if they die a lot. Don't let this happen. Save often and keep your hand on the reset button. Dying once or twice is ok, but dont let it be a habit. Fight MURPHY'S GHOST on level one (741 exp points per battle for 6 members) until you're about level 6 or 7. Then go kick ass on level 4 to get the blue ribbon, and rasie ur levels on level 9 near the stairs taking on anything u can within reason. Chute to 10, game over. Wizardy 1 is almost too simple.
Any tips for me in this game? I found it really hard back when I used to play it because my characters got old too quick... I guess I spent too much time leveling.
Got a trick for you that I learned while playing this game. You probably already know to create "dummy" characters to strip for gold. Well form these characters up into a group once you take their gold and then proceed to the room where you get the blue ribbon. They will be a attacked and die several times, but eventually you'll hit a friendly party instead of getting attacked. Click leave instead of attack, take the ribbon, and bring it back to you regular group. Then you can go down to lvl 9.
Whatever you do, do not waste your money or time at the inn. Use your heal spells from your Cleric and then replenish the spells in the stable. It costs nothing, and it will take over 365 visits in the stable for just your cleric to gain a year in age. Your other characters shouldn't age.
Only stay in the stables, then use your cleric to heal your party in the dungeon. I don't think any of my characters were ever older than mid-twenties.

@rej72380 I LOVE that game! It took me forever to get my casters max rank of every spell though. :D
