I live nearby where she died. It's very bad to see this person dying because of this. It's really bad down here and Im very sad for her loss.May she and all the people that have died because of this violence rest in peace.
Thank you for posting this! Such an amazing example! She died serving the Lord she dearly loved and shared with the Mexican people. What an incredible challenge! So glad for the hope of Heaven and know that she is enjoying her reward!
This is a video of Sam and Nancy Davis singing at an anniversary service for Nancy's home church. They always spread the word of their love of God and the important work that they were doing in Mexico. After the senseless shooting of Sister Nancy I say listen to the words of this song. There is no doubt in my mind that she is with her closest friend right now. May God bless her husband and family who are grieving in her absence. Heaven is rejoicing while we are weeping.
I heard Sam and Nancy sing this song on 2 different occasions, but unfortunately do not know the name of the song. I believe that it was written by Mrs Davis and her husband. I'm sorry I do not have more information for you but you may be able to contact someone at their mission. I believe it is located in Weslaco Texas and is called Gospel Proclaimers. Thank you for your interest and God bless you in your own mission work.
@zacapala32 Amen and Amen! I never had the priviledge of meeting Nancy in person, but I savoured each and everyone of her newsletters, which exuded her love of the Lord and dedication to the mission to which they were called.
We are praying for you, Bro. Sam and family. Sister Nancy was a true saint and a prayer warrior, an example of Biblical holiness. We ara also praying for the conversion of the drug cartel people in the Tamaulipas state. Sister Nancy's race is run, but we are still in the battle. Let's be faithful unto death because there is a crown of life laid up for us in heaven.
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Something Larry Smith once said in a Church History class came to my mind when I heard the news of Nancy becoming a martyr for Christ and that is "The blood of the Martyrs is the seed of the church" I pray that the blood she so willingly sacrificed for Mexico will spring up a revival in Mexico that will spread around the world.
I get scared when I think of Nancy's prayers that are now missing from our world.
She was such a beautiful example of a Holiness Christian and godliness. I am grateful that I was priviledged to know her and to see some of the life that she lived for Jesus. What heroic Soldier of the Cross was Nancy Davis! What a heroic Soldier of the Cross is Sam Davis! I intend to try to follow in their train.
Nancy fought the good fight and is now hearing, "Well done, my good and faithful daughter!" (Matt 25:21) Many prayers to the rest of the family for comfort and strength in your great sorrow.
May the Lord BLess you Sam!May he give u the strength and renew it like eagles strength! Be Blessed and one Day we will all be singing Glory Glory be to the highest with Nancy
Thanks for posting! May God be so near Sam during this time! Praying for this family! God wasn't shocked by this news - no he is Almighty God! What a glorious entrance to Heaven she certainly had! Praise God!
Heaven has another lovely voice singing tonight! She wrote her 'heartbeat' then would sing it out! Now she sings for the One who she loved and served!
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Thank you for sharing this video with us, God Bless the family during these difficult times. "MEXICO A COUNTRY AT WAR"

While I never knew Nancy Davis I pray for her and her Family.
It is a sad state we live in when an innocent person is killed for nothing more than greed.
I never knew her, but I am sorry for her loss.
And while I am not an overly religious person, I do pray the Lord protects her in what ever may exist in the great beyond.
Rest well Ma'am.
